This was a great central place to stay in Venice. It ticked lots of boxes for a very reasonable price. A nice hotel room with a lovely Murano glass chandelier, clean bathroom, windows that opened for fesh air. A nice breakfast room with attractive decor (e.g. more chandeliers, french doors, old world charm). The service was friendly and the concierge... More

Really enjoyed the stay at Residenza San Maurizio. Location was easy to get to and more importantly easy to remember when getting back to the hotel. Was also more distant from the more touristy places so was a little more relaxed. A lovely little cafe was 2 buildings down Room facilities were good, bed was comfortable. A little noisy in... More

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in mid October. The location is near perfect and the staff was helpful. We were two traveling students and this room was perfect for us. It was not too expensive and having our own space was well worth it. We did share a bathroom, but it was always free. We stayed in... More

Fantastic location, fairly easy to find (by the standards of a maze-like Venice) and close to San Marco Square. We were upgraded to a stunning hotel room. The hotel was very clean and the front desk was very helpful. We did not try the breakfast as there is a bakery just 1 minute away!

I stayed at Residenza San Maurizio in Venice for one night in October. I booked my stay one night prior to my arrival and I was assigned the most beautiful hotel room on the second floor. The building is historic and resembles an old Palazzo, which is what attracted me - and I was not disappointed. I booked a "superior... More

We had three nights in this hotel which was conveniently located in a quiet square close to Vaporetta No.1 landing and only 5 mins or so walk to St. Marks and Rialto. Hotel room and bathroom were small but had everything one needed although there was a musty smell. The bed was comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. Would... More

Stayed here for 3 nights as our first location on first trip to Italy and loved everything about it! The Alilaguna Orange line which comes directly from the airport and down the Grand Canal stops at San Giglio from there it was just a few steps to the hotel- no bridges or stairs- could not have been easier! We arrived... More

The room doesn't look like the pictures at all. The sink didn't work in the room. Walls are thin, you hear every door opening, every sound. The showers are so so, sometimes no hot water. Shared showers would take forever to get it. The young lady and indian man were very kind. The older women was money hungry and very... More

Booked this hotel through the NordicWalk Venice Admin team as we were to be in Venice for 4 nights for this event. The details of our card were taken as confirmation of booking. We had also booked a couple of nights in another hotel in Florence, a trip on the Italotrain from Venice to Florence and then, obviously, flights from... More

This place pretty much ruined my Italian holiday experience, Venice is a beautiful place, but this hotel is small, cramped, musty, noisy (no sound insulation between rooms) and not all the rooms are ensuite. We would not recommend staying here, for well over 120 euro a night it was disappointing.
