We arrived at this hotel and were happy to see that they accommodated us with a room change since they did not have us in a room with two beds. However, the room was very tired, walls covered in stains as was the carpet. There was no internet in the room and we picked hotel based on internet. We did... More

I dreamed about going to Italy for a long time. We saved up and off we went September 2014. We were told we had to go to Venice so we did. The visit was great but the hotel was a little disappointing. We were glad we were only sleeping there 2 nights. After we carried our suitcases up two flights... More

This hotel ruined our trip to Venice. The hotel is in the worst possible location. The staff at the front desk are grumpy in the morning, and inconsistent- he stopped me on the way to breakfast on day 2 out of three of our stay to say our reservation was invalid??!. The rooms are small, dark and have no A/C.... More

Friendly, clean hotel. Continental breakfast. Staff helpful and suggested reasonable places to eat that offered discount to hotel guests. Close to Arsenale boat terminal so only 10-15 minutes walk to St Mark's Square.

Stayed at the hotel last autumn because it's near to the Venice Biennial and the Arsenal aerie. I really agree with Cindy from Portland: "The worst customer service ever"! All the rooms were SO dirty, dark and smelly, bathroom looked like never been washed, and the grumpy old man who worked in the reception at our arrival was extremely unfriendly!... More

Stayed here for a short break in July 14. The hotel is easy to find if you get off at the Arsenal, turn right, cross two bridges and hotel is up a lane beside the church. Staff all very helpful, all spoke English and were happy to answer any questions and make suggestions for us, including giving us some discount... More

By far the worst customer service we have ever experienced in all our years of traveling. When we came back from dinner and seeing the city, 10:15 pm, our key would not work in our lock. We could not get in our room. The front desk man told me to try again, and I needed to pull the door when... More

Located in a quiet alley, walking distance from all major attractions and a 5 min walk from boat stop Giardini: 4 star location! Very nicely decorated rooms, very clean: a good combination of local atmosphere and high standard comfort. Very good beds, friendly staff. We had a room at the front side: very quiet. Simple but honest breakfast.

This hotel is filthy dirty, and the room was so small we could barely get around the bed. The shower is only large enough for a 10 year old; it could not be used. The staff do not know the meaning of customer service. The pillows are so flat, they are like wafers. When we requested a few more pillows,... More

Had an excellent stay at this hotel. The staff were very helpful, breakfast was great, room was huge, shower was a little on the small side but very hot and powerful, room was cleaned every day. The location was excellent, just of the Via Garibaldi, around the back of the co-op supermarket. Easy to find from the waterbus stop, only... More
