We loved our stay at Hotel Igea and would definitely stay here again. We were upgraded to a room with a view which was well worth it. The hotel was very close to our water taxi drop off point at monumento and about a 5 min straight forward walk from st marks square. The hotel was initially hard to find... More

We had the most wonderful stay at Villa Igea. Great location! It was easy to get to and easy to wander from. Leonardo, at the front desk, is very kind and helpful. He made our Venice dreams come true! Thank you Leonardo! Our son is still talking about Leonardo! When we come back to Venice, we will certainly stay here!... More

We had a superior room for three nights in June this year. Our room was on the 7th floor, and had the feel of a converted attic. While clean, quiet, comfortable and spacious, we did have to negotiate two beams which run across the room from floor to ceiling, and a flight of stairs to the bathroom. Venice is a... More

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights in a triple room, 601. The room was small, clean and had everything we needed, including air conditioning and free WiFi. It was decorated nicely in gold tones in a traditional Venetian manner. The windows overlooked an alley and other windows so we had no view - I would have been disappointed... More

This hotel is very quiet and is located in a beautiful piazza just 5 minutes walking from piazza San Marco. It was clean and well decorated. Beds are nice. Breakfast is ok (menu could be better) and even though it is served in another hotel nearby from that place to the grand canal is spectacular. Single rooms can be quite... More

Such a great little hotel in a perfect location in Venice. It's just a hop, skip and a jump from the stop for Alilaguna blue line from the airport, which I pre-booked for €25 return. That takes an hour. From San Zaccaria you can also take the vaporetto to the Grand Canal, Lido, Murano, Guidecca, etc, really easily - perfect!... More

Excellent hotel for a 4 night stay in Venice. Fantastic breakfast overlooking sightseers on the main waterfront drag to set you up for the day. Perfect location for day time exploring- about 6 mins walk to Piazza San Marco and the main attractions but brilliant for wandering in the evenings when most tourists have gone. Room was slightly small but... More

The hotel was in a great location right by St Marks Square with a lovely view onto San Zaccaria church. Very easy to find and is off the bay front which can get extremely busy. It was very clean and the staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Overall this was not a terrible hotel. Good location, modern. Breakfasts were not great, however, and we were booked into a very small 3 -person room facing an alley in the back which was loud long into the night, making sleep difficult. Our biggest complain though concerns the "free" trip offered by the hotel to Murano. You get a nice... More
