We spent three nights here. The Villa is the older section of the Savoia e Jolanda hotel and is tricky to find as the entrance is through an archway directly opposite the San Zaccaria (San Marco) vaporetti stop. Once you find it, it is a little confusing as the sign on the door to the Villa isn't terribly clear. The... More

We loved the location of this hotel, just a few steps from San Marco, but also really quiet surroundings. Rooms are well-furnished with the venetian style charm. I would definitely stay here in our next trip to Venice. More

Stayed here with my 11 year old son for 4 days. I'd have to try real hard to find problems with this hotel. It is reasonably priced for Venice and you get a quiet, clean hotel on a lovely square. Breakfast is good in the sister hotel on the grand canal and the same hotel has very helpful staff at... More

I stayed for one night at the Villa Igea Hotel in Venice. The hotel is in a superb location, just meters from San Marco square and from the Canal Grande. It is the three-star sister of a nearby four-star hotel. Check-in and breakfast are, however, done in the four-star hotel. Rooms are big and well-furnished. Bathrooms are renovated and well-equipped.... More

We have been visiting Venice annually for the last 14 years, the last 12 of which we have stayed in the Villa Igea and it never disappoints. The rooms are not huge (in our experience Venetian hotel rooms are small unless you can afford the 5 star establishments), but what it lacks in size the rooms in which we have... More

Villa Igea was magnificent! We stayed in Rome, Florence, and Venice, and though the other two hotels were nice and had their own charm, Villa Igea blew us away. When we arrived to the main door, it was closed with a sign posted to please go check in at their sister hotel next door. While walking there we assumed they... More

We stayed at this hotel 3 yrs ago and were upgraded to a Superior Room. It was lovely and spacious and we were delighted with it. This time we booked a Superior Room and we were shocked to be shown to a very small room. I went to reception, round the corner at the Savoia e Jolanda and was told... More

We stayed in this lovely little gem for a few nights in November. The staff really couldn't have been more helpful. Our room was a bit on the small side but lovely, cosy and clean- we had a balcony looking onto a courtyard with a little fountain right outside our window. The location is amazing, just a few minutes from... More

My wife and I stayed at Villa Igea during our honeymoon in Italy. The good news is that the room was clean and the location was amazing just a couple of minutes from St Marks Square. That said, the room was small and the bathroom and shower were even smaller. We weren't thrilled with Igea but it was decent enough. More
