I stayed at this hotel for 3 days during my visit to Venice. When we first arrived at the hotel they told us that a pipe had burst in our room so they put us in a different hotel for the first night, which was actually amazing as the hotel they put us in was really beautiful and the suite... More

The staff was not very friendly...no smiles at all! Our room was very big, but the shower was tiny and covered in mold and mildew. The plumbing was clogged so the shower water pooled around our ankles as we showered. YUCK! We had a first floor room across the alley from the hotel and it was below street grade so... More

Our room, #103, was diagonally across from the front desk. It was noisy until around 11:30, then it was quiet. We asked for a different room yet was told the other rooms were smaller so we stayed put. Our window overlooked the small private bridge which led to the hotel's lobby. The hotel will charge you an additional 2,50euro for... More

know what you are getting before your book. 5-10 min. walk from the water taxi drop off to the hotel no porter available. We had 3 rooms 1 on the 3rd floor (the floor slanted, water stains large ceiling tile missing) 2 rooms were in the attic! And I do mean attic, with rafters the whole bit. I'm tall so... More

Good central location and in easy walking distance to St Marks Square, Rialto Bridge, Bridge of Sighs and a gondola practically outside the hotel annexe entrance. When we arrived (via water taxi) we asked for directions and a porter was on hand to take our luggage which took about 5 minutes to the hotel but well worth the 20 euros... More

The hotel was nice and clean. We had booked a Delux room in the Annex wich was super! Room 605 had a view of the a canal with gondolas passing by all day, so we sat on the windowsill a lot just looking at the boats and people. The room looked great with an old fashioned design. The annex was... More

We stayed here for 1 night after coming off a cruise. Came off the water bus and it is only a 5 min walk to the hotel. As said in previous posts very close to st marks square, bridge of sighs and not too far away from the Rialto bridge and some lovely bars and restaurants. We were in the "... More

To keep it short and sweet - if you adore traditional Venetian decor and architecture this hotel is for you! It's is Venice through and through. Gold guilt details at every turn, decadence at every turn and even better on a budget. It's small, it's quant and yet somehow in it's own quirky way it manages to be utterly glorious... More
