We booked 2 nights through Trivago & the pictures of the rooms on the hotel website looked fantatic. We were aware of the annexe building a 2 minute walk away from the hotel but our room in this was incredibly small. You walk in & with 2 paces you reach the small double bed which in turn the other side... More

We stayed 4 nights at the beginning of September. Similar to experiences of others (it appears), we were told on arrival there was a "problem with plumbing" and we were to spend the night at another hotel "sorry for the inconvenience", but sadly no more than that. Not a good start, and it was hardly great to live out of... More

Great location. Less than 10 minutes walk from St. Marks Square and Rialto Bridge and close to most other 'must see' sites of Venice. The staff is friendly and responsive. However some rooms in the attic are really cramped and should be avoided.

This hotel operates in a city without a single car, everybody commutes by boat or simply walking. It does not compromise the level of quality services the hotel staff provided to me and other guests. I find the staff at front desk are very helpful, accommodating and astute about finding solutions to assist their customers. They are very courteous in... More

We stayed at the Ca dei Conti last week for one night. Good location - 5 min walk to Piazza San Marco, local shops and restaurants. Under 10 minutes to walk to vaporetto (water taxi/bus) - if you don’t get lost. Staff were very nice, friendly and accommodating (we asked for our double bed to be separated to two twins).... More

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days during my visit to Venice. When we first arrived at the hotel they told us that a pipe had burst in our room so they put us in a different hotel for the first night, which was actually amazing as the hotel they put us in was really beautiful and the suite... More

The staff was not very friendly...no smiles at all! Our room was very big, but the shower was tiny and covered in mold and mildew. The plumbing was clogged so the shower water pooled around our ankles as we showered. YUCK! We had a first floor room across the alley from the hotel and it was below street grade so... More

Our room, #103, was diagonally across from the front desk. It was noisy until around 11:30, then it was quiet. We asked for a different room yet was told the other rooms were smaller so we stayed put. Our window overlooked the small private bridge which led to the hotel's lobby. The hotel will charge you an additional 2,50euro for... More

know what you are getting before your book. 5-10 min. walk from the water taxi drop off to the hotel no porter available. We had 3 rooms 1 on the 3rd floor (the floor slanted, water stains large ceiling tile missing) 2 rooms were in the attic! And I do mean attic, with rafters the whole bit. I'm tall so... More
