We had some qualms before our arrival about the location of the hotel. It being on a private island, I was concerned about getting to and from the main drags of Venice. We hired a water taxi from the train station, which cost about 70 euros. The moment we set foot on San Clemente, we were taken by the beauty... More

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The hotel itself if so beautiful. I felt like we were staying in a historic mansion. The rooms are beautifully appointed (tho a bit small compared to US rooms). Staff was super friendly and always helpful in providing tips on where to go. Decorations and furniture in public spaces was luxurious.... More

As the other reviewers say, this was a superb experience. I worked as a consultant for 6 years and had the opporutinity to stay at many hotels, I can surely say this has been the best ever. I got an upgrade to a suite which was espectacular, the hotel common areas are dreamy and you feel you are ina movie,... More

Wow.. everything I have imagined and more. It's so delightful to be amazed by a place that is beyond the postcard image I had in mind. Beauty comes at a price but was truly worth every penny. Venice and The St Regis definitely goes down as one of the best places we have ever stayed. Truly remarkable, no complaints and... More

The first thing to be said about this newly-St. Regis property is that the location, on a private island just off the coast of Venice, is amazing. While this might sound daunting, there is free shuttle (boat) service every 30 minutes until nearly 1am. The shuttle takes just a few minutes and is quite comfortable and even fun. The grounds... What could be better than arriving on your own private island in Venice. The St Regis is paradise. The rooms are spacious and extremely luxurious. Dining at the St Regis is exceptional, the food was exquisite. I could not recommend the hotel and staff highly enough.

When looking at where to stay in venice we were deciding between a couple luxury hotels. The grounds of San Clemente really sold my husband but I was nervous about being on a secluded island and thought we may get bored... I am not usually wrong but I will admit i was this time. We got here today and I... More

I am not someone to write reviews but this is one place that deserves a mention. The St Regis Venice is a luxurious retreat on its own private island just minutes by boat from St Marks Square. Set on its own private island with beautiful gardens with its own private pool this is somewhere you can truly relax and unwind... More

Recently stayed here to celebrate my 40th Birthday with my husband and 2 young sons, and I could not have chosen a better more fabulous place. From the moment we arrived we were treated spectacularly by all of the staff. The photos of the hotel really are understated compared to when you see it for yourself. This really is a... More

I spent two wonderful night in this new wonderful hotel. I've always loved to visit amazing town, as Venice, but sometimes it's hard to find an hotel that provides you silence, tranquillity and relax after a full day of "being a tourist"...and there we go: San Clemente Palace offers you this and more, it's perfect to relax on the terrace,...
