We stayed at this hotel in September when it was St Regis property. It was luxurious, elegant, and you felt like living in your own palace! It's a great place to not be in central Venice! We didn't particular like Venice but hotel definitely saved the trip! It's not cheap but worth every penny if you're looking for some quiet,... More

I visited this hotel when it was under St. Regis. It is an interesting building with an E shape. Originally it was a monastery converted into a female mad house and recently (20 years) into an hotel. Why am I explaining it? Because from that you can understand that the structure of the hotel is not easy, often happen to... More

Stayed here for 4 nights during my honeymoon in early October, 2015. The grounds and views breathtaking! The staff was so friendly and helpful. One man in particular I would like to recognize worked in concierge gave me absolute precise directions to a store on the island of San Marco that sold hair straighteners after mine decided to stop working.... The guest rooms are clean and spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is delicious and extensive. The bar was a fun place to go have a drink. Service at dinner was slow but the staff were very accommodating. Maybe the kitchen is very far from the dining room? It took ages for the waiters to get... More

My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and decided to stay at San Clemente Palace, which incidentally was part of St Regis in September 2015. The hotel was very nice as were the rooms. However, we had the worse service one could imagine. The newspaper did not arrive in the morning, and that carried on despite numerous requests!... More

10 mins by boat from city centre, but with view of the city. Away from the hustle and bustle. Pool (rare for Venice) beautiful setting. Staff amazing! Pool area and restaurant fab! Everything you could need for a holiday. Especially loved the Acqua de Palma toiletries. Would certainly reccomend.

Great Hotel in a small Island outside of Venice. It takes 10 minutes by shuttle boat to reach Plaza St Marcos where the main activities are. You will find everything at the St Regis, great friendly staff especially if you try your Italian. Don't be the imperialist Anglo saxon that feels that everyone should be speak your tongue please. You... More

The place is amazing. BUT, if you plan on staying just for a few days, I think it's better to stay on Venice island itself. Commuting is real fast, and arriving in the morning on Venice is amazing, but still, you have to chose on whether you stay in Venice or enjoy the hotel. The room are nice (classic style,... More

Best view of the venitian lagoon and location... luxury resort quiet surrounded by spectaculare gardens...the staff is compound and kind. Not for noisy family with children...is to bad I've lost the photos I took but here below there is one of me and my girlfriend on the water taxi free service of the resort crossing the stunning lagoon of Venice... This St. Regis is literally an isle of calm and one of the most unique luxury properties in the world. The hotel takes up the entirety of the small island, with a stunning park like setting and views including of St Marks etc. over the water. There is also a small church adjacent to the hotel. We had two days... More
