My wife and I just visited this beautiful hotel from Sydney as part of our honeymoon and were delighted by the room and service. Valentina on the front desk is very helpful and hospitable and the room we had was huge and luxurious. We had a beautiful view of the canal and if you so wish you can catch a... More

We had a fabulous four night stay at Ca Amadi. We loved the guest house with our beautiful room in an historic location. The view from the dining room balcony watching the gondolas on the canal was delightful. Breakfasts were plentiful and varied. Our room and large bathroom was cleaned to a high standard every day. The guest house is... More

My husband and I enjoyed three wonderful nights while in Venice. It is a great location and had a friendly staff that was helpful with any questions we had. The breakfast was great, too. The room was clean and maintained well. We would recommend this place while visiting Venice.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at this hotel. We booked the Junior Suite which was stunning, really comfortable and huge. The view from the window out onto the canal was really pretty with gondolas passing every few minutes, the bigger boats make a bit of noise but you can only hear them when the windows and... More

Amazing stay here right from the word go.Location is perfect 5 minute walk from Rialto bridge meant there was a real buzz to the area although the Guest House is hidden away from all the hustle and bustle. Beautiful room, view over canal was incredible!! very helpful/friendly reception, good breakfast would definitely return and recommend.

We spent 4 nights here recently and had a suite facing the canal. The room was lovely, huge and ornate with a bar fridge and modern bathroom. It was quiet once the windows were shut and it's nice hearing the noise of the gondoliers as they go past and watch the world going by from the window We never really... More

Just got back from our honeymoon I can't agree more with all the positive reviews. The staff were so friendly and the location is great to walk to everything. Would recommend to everyone that is looking for a quality stay in a good location. Don't be scared by having to walk through the alley to get to the place.

We've been travelling Europe for over three months now, and having stayed at many different four and five star hotels, guest houses and B&Bs, we count our stay at Locanda Ca'Amadi amongst our most memorable! We loved the charm, character and location of this historic building (just a short walk to Rialto Bridge to Piazza Marco) Alberto and Valentina were... More

I don't understand where all the great reviews for this place are coming from. True, it has a very good location, so long as you don't mind stepping over the trash and dead pigeons in the alley way that leads to the entrance. Apart from location, however, there is nothing else that is above average and several features that border... More

Dear Guest, we thank you for your feedback. As well as you were surprised with the enthusiastic reviews about us, we were surprised about your severe judgement. You are right: we are a guest-house and not a hotel. But we never pretended or claimed to be a hotel. We specify it everywhere. We do not offer the same services or... More
