In late September 2013 my husband and I stayed for a couple of nights. We were thinking of staying in a hotel and are so glad we opted instead for Ca'Amadi. Our hosts and their house provided a taste of the real Venice. We caught the water bus from the train station to the closest wharf from where it is... More

Located on a small canal, just off the Grand canal ca amadi is a delightful place to stay on the island. Run by 2 brothers who are so helpful, close to the rialto bridge, close to vaporetto stops. If you get a canal facing room you will hear gondoliers telling their customers that Marco Polo lived there, I don't know how... More

Nice interiors and reasonable breakfast. They do not have 24 hours or even full day time reception. Even though staff was helpful for guiding they were not available to do so. They have no one at reception between 1 & 3 pm.... And again no one after 7 pm to next day morning 9 am. A tourist will discuss plans... More

Dear Guest, We would like to thank you for your feedback on your stay and for the appreciation about our breakfast and the decoration of our guest-house. On the other hand, onto this last word I would like to draw your attention: Ca’ Amadi is a guest-house and therefore it doesn’t offer the same comforts as a starred hotel. Of... More

We stayed at the Ca' Amadi during Carnival, and it was a great experience. The building itself is a little hard to find, especially in the middle of the night, battling aqua alta, but once there, we were pleasantly surprised. The interior is very glamorous with chandeliers and textured wallpaper. The room itself was absolutely lovely, with the window opening... More

My husband and I were lucky enough to stay at this original and lovely home last August. It was our favorite stay of the trip! It almost felt like our secret hideaway in the middle of a very busy city. We LOVED our basement room that had a window seat that opened onto a small canal. We sat there and... More

Ca'Amadi was a wonderful find for our first trip to Italy!! Our room was as beautiful as the pictures on the website. We stayed in the Junior Suite with 2 windows that opened right onto the canal. The room was spacious and immaculate. The bathroom had a very nice tub with shower. Reservations were easy to make online and they... More

We loved our 3 night stay at Ca'Amadi - a beautiful B&B rich in history but with modern touches that makes you feel at home in the heart of Venice - but also removed from the crowds that the city attracts to its sights. We arrived by train to Santa Lucia station and followed the instructions provided to reach the... More

I've been to Venice 4 times now & this is by far the best place I've stayed. Very handy location near Rialto & walking distance to practically everything. It's tucked away off the main thoroughfare so it's not too noisy. Marco Polo used to live here though so a lot of gondolas go past & talk about this place. Truly... More

This small B & B is a little hard to find--fortunately our boat driver called ahead and concierge Valentina kindly came out to our dock to lead us in through several alleys and help us with our luggage. The courtyard of this very, very old building is charming. We were fortunate to have the only bedroom on the first floor.... More
