The hotel is nicely central, an easy walk or quick Vaporetto trip from the Rialto bridge, but in a quiet side passage with a picturesque private pier. The staff were friendly and helpful. They even provided gluten-free crispbread for my young celiac daughter at breakfast -- maybe not as enticing as the regular bread and croissants, but it was nice... More

I stayed here with 2 friends and we had 2 big rooms with a washroom. The place is very clean and has friendly staff. The rooms have a good view and the beds were comfortable. It's very close to the Rialto Bridge and easily accessible by the the water bus. The breakfast is included in the price and is quite... More

The directions the hotel sent us worked out fine in regard to finding the hotel. But there is a Vaporetto stop closer to the hotel, Silvestro instead of Rialto Merchado. We had a room with a view down a alleyway which went to the Grand Canel. There was a private dock thee is you wanted to use a private water... More

My partner and I stayed in this guest house at the end of April. Although only a few seconds walks from a busy lane of lovely shops the hotel is down a nice quite lane. The rooms and bathroom was clean and we had good nights sleep there. There is a private jetty within a very short walk from the... More

The Good: AC, friendly help at the desk, nice breakfast (cold cuts, breads, jams/jellies, coffee, yogurt, juices, cereal), excellent internet connection and speed (we were even able to FaceTime with family back home), quiet area of town The Bad: some rooms supposedly have good views, but ours didn’t at all, fairly expensive place to stay (but in my opinion, it's... We had a little trouble finding this place -- but there is no hotel in Venice I haven't gotten lost searching for! Once found, it was a quiet, convenient location. The staff were all quite helpful. The room was small but sufficient -- bathroom was up to date. The A/C struggled a bit and the bed was not the most... More

This lovely rustic guesthouse is located centrally in Venice; within walking distance of the Rialto bridge and St Marks Square. It is also just a few steps from the grand canal where private water taxis can be boarded. The cheaper form of transport, the waterbus, can be caught from San Silvestre about 5-10 minute walk away through the narrow walkways.... More

We stayed here the day prior to our cruise departure. Although it took some navigating to find it, the hotel was in a great location - very central for seeing the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square. When we first arrived, the person at the front desk was on the phone (on what appeared to be a non-hotel related business)... More

This is an excellent B & B located close to the Rialto Bridge with a private landing place for taxis. We arrived early and they were kind to let us an early check-in. They provide us with keys to the guest house and the rooms as the desk at reception will not be manned after evening. They helped us with... More

Hotel Ca'Arco Antico was a charming, quaint little B&B located just off a major throughway (less than 10 minutes walking distance to Ponte Rialto). Easy to find if you follow the hotel's email instructions (I suggest a water taxi or the waterbus if you want to save the wheels on your suitcase). Very friendly staff, quiet and clean room, good...
