Normally when one reads about visiting Venice, one reads horror stories about rip-offs and price-extreme nightmares ... gladly there are, as usual, ways around this ... e.g. this wonderful B&B ... perfect location in a quiet neighborhood in Lido. 5 Minutes to the water bus which takes you to the epicenter of Venice in 10 minutes. (If you come by... more

We had an amazing three night stay. We stayed in a room on the Mansard floor, which was warm and comfortable. We loved the towel warmers, and the bed was nice and firm. The B&B is really conveniently located.. about 4-5 minutes walk from the Vaporetto stop. Alessandro is the most excellent host. He hoisted our large bag up three... more

All the terrific reviews we read of Villa Casanova were spot on. It is a lovely, comfortable and very clean B & B in a quiet and safe neighborhood. It is only 5 min away from the vaporetto going to the main islands and it's only a 10 min trip. Our room had great space and a good sized bathroom-everything... more

We just stayed at the Villa Casanova Bed and Breakfast and enjoyed it very much. The location of the property is perfect, within close proximity to restraunts, transportation, shopping, the beach, etc. The staff at Villa Casanova were friendly and very accomodating. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was very good. We would definitely stay there again. more

The hotel was signposted well and as such was easy to find just around the corner from the water bus stop in Lido. Our room was a decent size and had an excellent bathroom (including a nice powerful shower - makes all the difference! :). Breakfast was listed as basic but was everything we needed good selection of savory items... more

Originally we booked a double in the Villa Albertina. When they gave us a small, dark room in the cellar, we decided to change the hotel. Actually, Villa Casanova is one out of only four "Albergi" on the Lido mentioned in the invaluable red Michelin Guide - and rightly so. It is a very nice Villa in an residential area,... more

Just returned from a weekend at the Villa Casanova which was excellent in every way. The location of the Villa Casanova is only a 5 minute walk to the vaporetta stop and is located down a quite side street which was perfect. The water taxi only takes about 10-15 mins to the centre of the main attractions and I must... more

My husband and I stayed at Villa Casanova for the first 3 nights of our honeymoon in May. We chose this hotel based on the reviews on Trip Advisor and we can honestly say that the hotel lived up to its reputation. We cannot praise highly enough the owner, Alessandro, who did everything possible to make us feel welcome. Having... more
