Reasonable Price with good location. Only 10 mins walk from San Marco Plaza and equipped with all necessary electrical appliances and household utensils. Especially for a family with 3-4 ppls, easy access to anyplace in Venice. I will stay there again if I visit Venice!

This is a great apartment located in the middle of Venice. It's actually an apartment, not a hotel. It is large, has a washer in the room, as well as a small kitchen with a fridge oven, microwave and sink. I only downgrade it because it was quite hard to find. The cute Italian man who works in the restaurant... More

We had a lovely 5 day stay. The location was excellent. The apartment was secure, comfortable, and well equipped. Michael was most hospitable in meeting us and answered all of our questions. We were very happy.

We stayed in the studio with a view of the square. The apartment is spacious, light and attractive. It has excellent heating and a well equipped modern kitchen and bathroom. It is close to St Marks but just far enough off the main paths to have a much quieter atmosphere. Customer service from Paolo and Michael was flawless. There is... More

Just got back from a long weekend. As others have said these apartments are well located, not far from Accademia, Rialto and San Marco Square, about 5-10 mins each. The apartments themselves were pleasant, spacious and very, very clean. Security was excellent with not only a key to the external doors but a triple lock on the rooms and free... More

We stayed at Ca' Sant' Angelo for 11 nights to celebrate a major birthday, the location was perfect for Accademia and close enough to San Marco. Fantastic find, very pleased! Paolo and Michele couldn't have been more helpful in meeting us near the building and explaining local things (including the all important route to the supermarket!) All very clean, lots... More

I stayed at Ca' Sant' Angelo in Apartment No.1 with my husband and our 4 year old daughter for 4 nights from Jan 5th to Jan 9th 2015 to celebrate my 40th birthday. Firstly, the apartment is in a great location, quite easy to find from the Sant Angelo vaporetto stop if you have a map like we did or... More

Our family of 3 just stayed at sant'angelo for 2 nights and we were really comfortable here. The apartment is huge and everything is brand new. It's very clean. Locations is central near San Marco and easy to walk around. Take the offer upon being picked up at the vaporetto station as it's a bit confusing to get there as... More

5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2014

Three of us stayed only 2 nights in December this year, wish we booked for longer. We had the room overlooking the Piazza and were amazed at its size and authentic Venice feel! The building is beautiful and well cared for. We paid a surprisingly low rate for such a high standard of accommodation so close to San Marco Square.... More

Many thanks again for your stay with us. I would like to confirm that the amount you have paid for late arrival was just 15,00 euro instead the other 12,00 euro are for city tax. Best regards and see you soon here in my property. Paolo More

Staying in San Marco

Neighborhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
