Although we didn't stay at the hotel (wish we had now) we went to the hotels restaurant every day such lovely friendly staff greeted us and went out of their way to do extra , greeted us with taster food & extra complimentary drinks , because I liked a certain dish the staff arranged for the chef to make it... The location close to San Marco square was fabulous. The staff were extremely helpful especially the lady on reception. The bed was large and firm which is to our liking but only had one very flat pillow each. Room was small with nowhere to put personal belongings. Wardrobe was tiny. However the shower was even smaller and though my husband... More

Knowing that everything in Venice is inflated in price, we sought a compromise for our hotel. The look and charm of Hotel Noemi sparked our interest, and it had positive reviews. The hotel is super easy to find, and its location is phenomenal. The room itself is small, but not unmanageable, especially since you shouldn't be spending loads of time... More

We stayed at Hotel Noemi for 4 nights and had a brilliant stay. Location was fantastic, 3 minute walk to St Marks Square, surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants. The staff at Hotel Noemi were fantastic. They gave great advice on things to do, places to eat and drink and travel to the airport. We also got a free map... More

Perfect location, just a 3 min walk from S. Marco Square. Lovely rooms, decorated in a Venetian style! Breakfast was nice, but breakfast room is too small! Reception staff were always nice and polite! We arrived before check in time and we were invited to leave our luggage at the reception and use the toilet facilities! Something very disappointing: our... More

Dear guest, thank you so much for your feedback. We do not understand your disappointment about towels, since we send all the material to the laundry every day and they give us fresh and clean towels, so they shouldn't be wet nor dirty... Thanks Hotel Noemi Staff More

Brilliant location a few minutes from San Marco Square. Made it very easy to get to our hotel, and get around. Stayed one night so worked for us, but would not be so good for a few nights as wifi was difficult, bathrooms small. Breakfast was good, especially compared to other hotels we stayed at, where there was only coffee.... More

We thought this was a lovely hotel. The room was plenty big enough, as was the shower, despite some reviews that said they were too small. We had to move rooms after the first night. The second room was better, although the bed wasn't quite as comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the famous Vincent! The location... More

Dear guest, thank you very much for your feedback. It's always important to read your satisfaction to improve where possible. Concerning your requests unfortunately we regret to advise you we serve fruit as well, but just when rates are higher and not in winter/early spring time. Talking about noise sometimes it's true, there's noise from outside, but this is because we... More

Overall myself and my partner loved this hotel...great location, lovely helpful girl on reception, nice room lovely decorated and very clean. Breakfast wasn't great And could've done with fresh fruit or healthier choices as was mostly croissants and cakes and meat and cheese and terrible tasting cereal and long life milk. The coffee was great tho! However our room 102... More

Dear Madame, thanks a lot for your feedback. I wish to apologize if the impression you got on the last night was a sort of rude reply, I think there was a lack of communication only. What we wanted to say is that Venice is quite noisy close to San Marco square as many persons use our street to walk... More

To be honest, I always tend to be very positive even when the hotel I stay in is not very good. But I will not to try to be positive with Hotel Naomi. Let’s start with good things: location is great, breakfast was ok, young lady and older man at the reception were very nice and helpful, bed was comfortable... More

Dear Madame, thanks a lot for your feedback, it's always important to satisfy guests needs. Unfortunately, when someone asks for another room it could happen this is not possible immediately, but we do all our efforts to solve any kind of matter. The same concerning noise: we work respectfully and many guests take care of other persons, but often there're... More

Stayed with a friend a few weeks ago, is a really great hotel. The location is excellent to explore Venice, go out for dinner near by or discover the local bars. The room was beautiful. Mr Vincent was really helpful and recomended some nice restaurants. We really appreciated his help and suggestions. The only thing that would have bought it... More

Dear Kitty, thanks a lot for this nice feedback :) Concerning the lack of fruit or cocumber we apology but we have two problems: first, we can serve fruit only when rates are higher, second, we have no space to add vegetables as well, sorry for that, as our breakfas hall is really too small Cheers Hotel Noemi Staff More

Staying in San Marco

Neighborhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
