We thought this was a lovely hotel. The room was plenty big enough, as was the shower, despite some reviews that said they were too small. We had to move rooms after the first night. The second room was better, although the bed wasn't quite as comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the famous Vincent! The location... More

Overall myself and my partner loved this hotel...great location, lovely helpful girl on reception, nice room lovely decorated and very clean. Breakfast wasn't great And could've done with fresh fruit or healthier choices as was mostly croissants and cakes and meat and cheese and terrible tasting cereal and long life milk. The coffee was great tho! However our room 102... More

Dear Madame, thanks a lot for your feedback. I wish to apologize if the impression you got on the last night was a sort of rude reply, I think there was a lack of communication only. What we wanted to say is that Venice is quite noisy close to San Marco square as many persons use our street to walk... More

To be honest, I always tend to be very positive even when the hotel I stay in is not very good. But I will not to try to be positive with Hotel Naomi. Let’s start with good things: location is great, breakfast was ok, young lady and older man at the reception were very nice and helpful, bed was comfortable... More

Stayed with a friend a few weeks ago, is a really great hotel. The location is excellent to explore Venice, go out for dinner near by or discover the local bars. The room was beautiful. Mr Vincent was really helpful and recomended some nice restaurants. We really appreciated his help and suggestions. The only thing that would have bought it... More

The location is excellent, 1 minute away from San Marco Square, 10 minutes away from Rialto Bridge and very close to souvenir shops and cafes. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, great cleaning and breakfast services. We spent 3 nights at Hotel Noemi and even if we aren't big fans of italian breakfast, we enjoyed Hotel Noemi's because... More

Hotel Noemi has great location. It is very close to San Marco, Rialto Bridge and many great shops, cafes. Stuff was really friendly, kind and helpful. Breakfast was also good. If you prefer Hotel Noemi do not travel with big and heavy luggage because Hotel has no elevator and staircases are narrow.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and for what we paid we couldn't have asked for much more. Our room was right off reception (111) which we thought was going to be noisy but either because it's a small hotel or because the doors are v sound proof it was fine. The location is incredible, literally 30... More

The hotel is in a great location and the price for our 3 night stay was reasonable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The Standard Room we had was small (like most rooms in Venice), but well decorated and very comfortable. The only real problem was the shower - the smallest I have ever seen. Hard to get into... My friend and I stayed at Hotel Noemi for one night in the beginning of 2015. We arrived into the city fairly late and were welcomed by a helpful staff member! Our room was large and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was decently sized and the shower had good water pressure. The wifi is kind of iffy, especially on... More

After seeing some reviews that stated the rooms were very small and of low quality, we were in two minds about what to expect. However, upon arrival and being greeted by the very pleasant Vincent, we were shown to our Room (101), which exceeded all expectations. This is Venice, no rooms are going to be huge, but ours was big... More

Staying in San Marco

Neighborhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
