This hotel is in perfect location to st mark's square. It really was a 5 minute stroll through the alleys to the hotel. There are lots of restaurants nearby as well as the palace and gondolas etc. It was quite a busy area due to the closeness to the square, but this also makes you feel the very buzz and... More

The beauty of Venice cannot be written, it doesn't really matter where you stay. Anyway, first important thing at this hotel is the location. Yes, it's true that first we had some troubles finding it, but it was raining, and it's was the flow. After that, it's a bliss to be at 5 minutes by foot from San Marco. You... More

We stayed here for our honeymoon! It was so sweet because we left a note on our booking that we were on our honeymoon and in our room was a tart with a little note that said congratulations! I thought that really says a lot about the place, no where else we stayed in europe did something like that for... More

I booked a Junior Suite at this hotel for $926.00 for a 2 night stay. I booked through Expedia. The hotel lobby looks like a bus station, the elevator too small for 2 people + carry on luggage. No one to bring our bags to our room. Then when we get to the "Junior Suite" it was a double bed... More

My husband and I stayed here last week for two nights and the ONLY good thing about this hotel is the location. We checked in and the front desk man, Manuel seemed snarky and smiled in a very phony yet condescending way. Clearly he wasnt trained very well in client relations & ettiquette. Although the next day he appeared to... More

We stayed for 2 nights over Easter with our 16 year old and 8 month old. The location is perfect to St Marks Square, the Doge's Palace, and everything else in Venice for that matter! The staff was extremely helpful and always nice. We did not require a cribfor our 8 month old and they did not charge anything additional... More

Located not more than a 4 minute walk from the Basilica corner of St Marks Square, this property is one of the San Marco district's true gems. Despite a few eccentricities that soon enough morph into charms, it is certain to thrill any visitor muttering a silent prayer as they first turn their door key. To wit - you'll find:... More

Having not been back to hotel for 7 years, I was surprised by how tired it had become. Room was lovely but dusty, bathroom a disgrace. Toilet seat was not same size as frame. Shower in bath had no shower curtain so floor was well washed. Bed was as soft as the floor and bed creaked and groaned! The magical... More

We had the best room for the beginning of our honeymoon. Room 352 has a beautiful view of the Bridge of Sighs and the canal. The location is fabulous, close walking distance to everything. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We will go back next year for our first anniversary.

I booked this through Expedia. As my partner is coeliac, it was necessary to contact the hotel direct to confirm breakfast details, also to book a water taxi to take us from the airport direct to the hotel jetty as an extra surprise. The taxi was booked and the concierge had allowed the correct the amount of time to get... More
