The location of this hotel is perfect being a very short walk to either San Marco Square or Rialto Bridge. This hotel (if you can call it that) is just a block of rooms with no lobby. In fact not knowing that it doesn't have any person at the door, we stood outside the sign and banged the door down... More

We stayed here for 2 nights on our honeymoon ... We found it extremely hard to find and in the heat and with suitcases very frustrating. Didn't know we had to check in at other hotel. The porter was then helpful with the cases. The room when we got there was very small but we expected that in Europe esp... More

Great location but that 's it. It is neither a guesthouse nor a hotel. It is a damp smelling ,depressing building with rooms, no charm or reception. The man at the desk down the street who greeted us and made the first impression had filthy finger nails, a shirt with grubby cuffs and the hem hanging down . He insisted... More

Rather good localization, 5 mins from San Marco Piazza. Great place to live, good caffes and restaurants here. The hotel is clean and the room was large enough. No room service so you cant order any drinks or food but it is not a big problem. Would recommend to stay.

Stayed here for 3 nights in early May. First time in Venice and this place was perfect. Can't beat the location - half-way between Rialto Bridge and San Marco Square - each about 5-minute walk. We booked a "suite" - which meant a separate area with a couch, in addition to the area with the bed. The extra space was... More

I travelled solo, requested and got a room with a kingsize bed for 3 nights. Be well informed in advance to check in at the Bella Venezia Hotel as La Scala has no front desk. Fantastic location to visit attractions, concerts, good restaurants and very close to public transport to the airport and to the other islands in the laguna.... More

My friend and I booked this hotel on a whim and were so impressed that we both agreed we would recommend it. Incredible location - a hop skip and a jump from Rialto Bridge, and surrounded by great wee restaurants and shops. Friendly, helpful staff, clean room, excellent shower and comfy bed. Breakfast was served in the main hotel just... More

The hotel has a great location, between the Rialto bridge and the St.Mark's square. There are a lot of very good restaurants and shops around. I originally booked another hotel but they moved me to this one, which I thought it was a very good upgrade. I guess the same company has several hotels, at least three that I could... More

The hotel is ideally situated in location close to the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square. From the airport can be reached by ferry Alilaguna 100m from the hotel. Nearby you will find clothing stores, souvenirs, restaurants and a grocery store. Room number 101 was really small. The room was pretty clean, except for a little stale, and the bathroom... More

Price was great for the location. The room was small, but very cozy and quiet! We did not have a view, but it didn't matter, because as soon as you go outside you are surrounded by a million people and stores, and food and restaurants. So when you get back to the room, all you want is some quiet time.... More
