My partner and I stayed one night in the hotel in later September 2011. We arrived in Venice one day early and therefore needed to book accommodation for one night. We booked the Pergola at the airport and paid a 20 Euro deposit with 80 Euros to pay on arrival. The Pergola is based on the Lido Island, probably about... More

Very nice, new, hotel. Situated on the Lido which is a lovely retreat from the never ending tourists in central Venice. Whole place is very clean and owners were helpful. Breakfast was nice and plentiful. We stayed in a room with a Queen bed which was a little squeeze for two but, ultimately, you get what you book so no... More

My partner and I stayed there in early October for 3 nights and compared to the 6 places we stayed at during our trip to Europe, this place was by far the worst one. Every other B&B we stayed in had free wifi. Here you have to pay €5 for two days. Even though we told the staff that we... More

I am truly sorry and disappointed. For the experience described by Syng. As I always gave my best for my clients. Certainly when there's strike, there is a strike. It is not easy in five minutes to find the right answer. I am sure they did not understand my instructions. And I think even now, to have given the right... More

The hotel is modern, clean and very close to all amenities, beach and boats to Venice (15-20 min ride). The staff were more than helpful. Alfredo, the owner is a great host! More

I wanted to thank you for a wonderful stay on 30/07-01/08. The desk staff was attentive and communication in English was good. The water taxi stop was about a 5 minute walk, and the trip into the middle of Venice proper only takes about 20 minutes and is very scenic. The Lido itself was a fun place to stay --... More

La Pergola is a no-nonsense hotel very well situated at the Lido. Customers are considered as adults who are able to respect each other's comfort without permanent .control by the staff. As a mather of fact, this hotel has such an efficient organisation that only 2 people are running it day-by-day: Edoardo and Tatania. Both are very kind and disposable.... More

We arrived there late (about at 10pm), but the owner was still waiting for us. She is a friendly and kind lady. She patiently taught us how to fill the sheet then led us to our room. The room we booked is small but very clean and with private shower. If you spend more money, you’ll have a large room... More

We went to Venice on our honeymoon and booked this hotel "on the blind". We found out it was much better than expected. Huge breakfast every morning with choice of juices, croissant, coffee, cappuccino, cakes, pizza and so on. Conveniently located in Venezia Lido, an island away from very loud and expensive Venice, we were 15 minutes by boat from... More
