I stayed with my wife at this hotel, it was a quite nice experience. The hotel is old but so are all hotels in venice with a taste of the old days. Even the firniture was classic. The stuff is helpful and made our stay easier.

I have serious problem with rhinithy allergic and I sent a msg to the hotel explaning about it, in the moment of my reserve (20days before). When I arrived in the hotel, my room was full of carpet and smelling really bad. The blanchets were old and full of durty. In the bathroom we found hair on the wall and... More

Nice Hotel central to most Venice attractions, 5 mins walk from the Vaporetto and St Marks Square. Smallish rooms in traditional even though a little tired Venetian style, clean and well cared for by the room staff. Has a mini bar, not very well stocked (no wine), Hair dryer but not a kettle (i missed that, i do like a... More

This hotel is badly in need of updating we stayed two nights and the only nice area was roof garden, our room was old ,musky ,dark ,broken toilet seat ,and depressing mor like a hostel than a hotel,we were on the top floor which was ok for us but would be a nightmare for some not so able,it's a traditional venice... This hotel's best point is 1 minute from the Grand Canal start at San Zaccaria and 2 minutes from St Mark's Square. Small, fabric-covered walls. and wardrobe door....does shabby chic mean worn out? View was a wall with roof tiles.....NOTHING ELSE. 2 outside air conditioning units below window and the back yard of a restaurant....bottles clanking and smell of food.... More

The location was great and it was very easy to find. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They did give us the wrong passports back, but luckily my husband noticed right away so it wasn't an issue. However, our room was awful. It was dirty (hair on toilet seat), furniture covered in dust. It was very damp and musty.... More

A charming hotel located only minutes from Saint Mark's Basilica and all other attractions. We were in a triple room which was comfortable and had an old world charm about it. The ceiling was low and it had lots of dark timber beams throughout the room. The kind of room you would expect in a city like Venice. Wi Fi... More

We spend two nights here. Get a room near the ground floor because you'll be climbing the stairs.. Very small rooms and smaller than twin sized beds, but with air conditioning and well kept. Lots of Venetian glass - lighting, displays, etc. Breakfast was fine, but did not include hot food. Staff service was nice. Desk clerks were really helpful.... More

We stayed here in Venice for one night after a cruise and before heading home. The hotel was very clean and our room #120 was nice but very small. We had twin beds which were overly firm and somewhat uncomfortable. Check-in was not as smooth as some places I've stayed but may have been due to the grumpy clerk. All... More

We spent one night here before joining a cruise, and loved this small and friendly hotel. We were put in the newly refurbished part of the hotel, which is further along the small alley. We had our own key to the enormous old wooden door, and inside the decor is authentic Venetian. Our room was not large, but perfectly adequate... More
