Our first room was moldy in the bathroom, some parts of the ceiling as well. We only got a new room for the second night. At breakfast, it was not possible to get a second serving (croissants or rolls). That was quite poor for 70€ per night and person. Vegans may find it highly unfortunate to eat only jam on... More

This bead & breakfast is not art deco but art disaster. We stayed for 3 nights in a three bed room in a building 100 meters from the reception. The building and roon were as old as Venice itself. The windows not closed, they hit each other with wind. The aircondition was a device with a tube through the window... More

I stayed here in October of 2004, nothing but great memories. I'm planning my return in September to celebrate 50 years Birthday. The location is perfect, I like to walk and see the city and the regular people. Prices are still great, I can't wIt to show my scotch- Irish girlfriend the beauty and splendor of Venice.

Our 'apartment' (two separate but connected rooms) were roomy, clean, comfortable and adequate, nothing special or fancy. Rooms were a short walk away from the check in but was not a problem. Central location, in a beautiful quiet street, thought the breakfast was very good. Reception gladly stored our luggage (a large amount) for the morning and let us use... More

Venice is expensive. So relative to local prices, this hotel met expectations and satisfied our desire for great location to use as base of exploring the city. Easy to get to and a short walk from boat stops. Minutes to st marko and seconds to grand canal. Rialto was a 5-10 minute walk. Exploring the main tourist corridor from here... More

I wanted a hotel in San Marco but all hotels were prohibitively expensive for a solo traveller. I eventually settled with Locanda Art Deco and I didn't regret it. The price is reasonable for Venice, and for what I paid I got a fairly large room whose size really exceeded my expectation. The hotel is clean and staffed by very... More

Stayed her for 3 nights and thought the location was great. Half way to the Rialto and St. Marks Square. Staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean with TV and WiFi. Rooms and bathrooms are simple and the showers have their own independent boiler so there is a limited amount of hot water. Happy with it.

Stayed here in October 2012 before our Greek Isle cruise , staff were very helpful, especially Linda who helped us with everything - directions, transportation, excursion to Murano, restaurants, etc. We stayed at the B&B, room was huge for 2 people, furniture could use a little dusting and wiping, bed was hard, but bathroom was remodeled which was very nice.... We have returned here happily more than a half-dozen times over the past decade. The hotel staff is always welcoming. Rooms are simple, with limited conveniences (for example, few TV channels), but offer all the necessities for a great stay in the city. Breakfast, although limited, is adequate to start your day. The location is great, equidistant from the Rialto... More

This was a very pleasant place to stay while in Venice. The rooms were nice and comfortable and the breakfast was relaxing and typical of any found on my stay in Italy. Service was always friendly. I really enjoyed my stay and would have liked to have stayed longer and explored Venice further. Highly recommend this place.
