This is one of my favorite boutique hotels in Venice for a number of reasons - first, it's right across the Grand Canal from the Peggy Guggenheim Museum and very centrally located with easy access to the water taxi. Even though it is a small boutique hotel with maybe 16 rooms, the rooms are really large for European accommodations. The... More

Very comfortable room, excellent breakfast, great location very close to the vaporetto stop, very friendly and accommodating staff. On our extended Italian holiday this was easily the most enjoyable place we stayed. A great addition were the impromptu Italian lessons from our own "maestrina." Thanks for a great stay in Venice. We'll be back.

We spent 3 nights in mid May and could not have been more satisfied with its location or the friendliness of the staff. The Romanelli family who own it were particularly helpful in booking us an entry slot of 10 mins for the Basilica which avoids having to waste time in the horrendous queues. It was really like staying in... More

What a great three nights at the Novecento - fantastic location (for both while there and for the boat to and from the airport). Room very comfortable and the décor throughout is really beautiful. Enjoyed the fact you can 'lounge around' both in the very comfy room upstairs and for coffee late afternoon downstairs. Everyone who works there so helpful... More

Enjoyed 4 lovely nights at the Novecento in early May 2014. The hotel is really well situated with all the major sites within easy reach. Inside it has a lovely calm feel and is very tastefully decorated. Our room (9) was on the 2nd floor and was perfectly comfortable. We took breakfast every morning in the little garden courtyard which... More

This hotel is just moments from St Marks Square, but feels like a little oasis. It's situated down a quiet street, away from all the crowds. Internally, it is beautifully decorated, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. There is a communal lounge with comfortable chairs for unwinding after a long day walking, and a peaceful walled garden for breakfasts in... More

Just returned with friends from a wonderful Mon-Fri break at the Novocento. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - the hotel was very quirky & unusual, and the bedrooms comfy with excellent bathrooms. This was a really restful place to stay - and what can we say about the breakfasts - well book in and find out for yourself... More

Novecento is a very small and personal hotel. Staff is absolutely sweet and helpful and totally makes you feel welcome. It is located in a small alley near San Marco but completely away from the hustle and bustle, still, a couple of steps and you are right where you want to be. The view at the end of the alley... Having spent three days walking round Venice we frequently commented on how lucky we were to have our room at Novocento due to its central yet peaceful location. The hotel is very welcoming, the room we were in was lovely and the breakfast was good. The Venetians we encountered during our visit were, without exemption, really friendly. However, special mention... More

We simply adored Novecento Hotel and it was one of the reasons we had an unforgettable stay in Venice beginning of April 2014. What is not to like? If you arrive by taxi boat you ll be dropped of only 50 metres from the entrance of this romantic small hotel. The decoration is very elegant and cosy, with lots of... More
