This little boutique hotel is conveniently located minutes from St. Marks Square and the main ferry stop from the airport. Easily walked/found while pulling your luggage albeit a bit tricky through a few streets. (Don't worry, everyone does it) Reception personnel (especially James) was incredibly rude and snobby. Made us feel like we were intruding into his space and that... More

After a two week trip to Italy and five hotels, this was the only one that made me really feel like I was actually in Italy; specifically Venice. The hotel is located right on the Rio de S. Moise canal and is a little tricky to find (Google Earth helps). The entire hotel is decorated with a quaint historic Venician... More

This hotel offers a perfect location in Venice. Minutes from St. Mark's Square makes it very convenient to find. It's an older hotel, without an elevator, so be prepared to climb a lot of very steep stairs to your room. The rooms are small and compact, as is the bathroom, but being able to open the window and watch the... More

Lisbona is a Quaint hotel, very long stairs with no lift, we arrived by shared water taxi booked through viator excursions, hotel was one minute walk from stop( also was given a map :-), ),very small dining area, location was great, 2 minute walk to st marks, hardrock cafe, gondola station right outside, you can hear them singing and bartering each other... When we booked we went for the room upgrade, so glad we did it was amazing. This place is 300 years old and the fact that it looks as if the carpets and decor looks like it's original only adds to its charm, yes there are a lot of stairs and if you book a normal size room it's going... More

This 'boutique' hotel is two minutes from St Mark's Square, is located on a narrow canal, and is just the place to watch gondolas load up with unsteady tourists from your window. Effective double glazing means you can shut out the noise when napping after a good workout along the alleyways and over the bridges of Venice. I'd use this... More

I have very mixed feelings about this hotel. I have to say stuff was very friendly and helpful though. Some tips: make sure you read carefully directions on which stop to get off from vaporetto. i didn't and ended up walking more than i could through some really crowded bridges. i had small luggage so it was ok though but... Venice is beautiful, unique and not occupied by many Venetians. Apart from a few stunning buildings and the wonderful perspective that the sail away view from the Celebrity Silhouette cruise vessel gives you, it's little more than a tourist trap. Staying for three nights in the Lisbona Hotel prior to our cruise we found it very easily but were thoroughly... More

IMPORTANT - can be difficult to locate: Take the Vaporetto 1 or 2 to St. Mark's Square exit and get a local map. Go toward the church of St. Moise and past it to the bridge across the square. Cross the bridge and take a left at the gondoliers station. Go under the arches for the hotel that's in front... More

My husband and I stayed here for only 1 night as we were joining the Queen Elizabeth cruise ship the next day. The hotel was fabulous. The decor and room were stunning. We really liked the old renaissance decor and padded fabric walls. Our room was at the very top of the hotel with lovely views along the canals and... More
