Very nice, easy to find hotel on the island of Lido. Friendly staff, good breakfast. Quick and frequent vaporreto connections to the main island. Shower-cabins are on the small side, so if you are a "big" person, talking a morning shower could be quite an adventure ;-) More

Lovely hotel in Lido, only a short water taxi trip to Piazza San Marco. This is a good place to stay if you want to be close to the main tourist attractions but also value a quiet, relaxing area. More

We stared to look for a hotel one month before our trip to discover that very few places were available, so we settle for the Lido area. In the end it was a good decision as this is a very nice and quiet area and about five minutes walk to the vaporetto then a short ride accross the water to... More

Here are some tips if you decide to stay at this hotel, which is excellent, by the way. 1. Take the water taxi to Lido... from the Venice train station, take taxi #51 (~40 minutes). 2. When you arrive, take a right out of the water taxi station and walk along the main street. It'll take around 8 minutes to... More

We stayed five night at this hotel and it was great. Deluxe room had plenty of room, ac worked well and there is charming tower for views of Venice. On top of all this it is an easy walk from the vaporetto and main street. The breakfast is okay but remember Venice ships in a lot of it's food so... More

If you are going to Venice and want a great stay, this is the place for you. Located on The Lido, a short vaporetta ride from the main part of Venice, this former private palace gives you the feel of staying in an authentic Venice palace but in a quiet, tree lined street within very easy walking distance to restaurants,... We know (and love) Venice and on this visit back to the old country chose to stay in the Lido - as it's actually like being in Italy, with real locals, unlike Venice itself, which is a wonder of the world, great to visit, but very quiet at night and overrun by tourists by day. Loved the location on the... More

This is a small, lovely hotel converted from a private mansion. Our room was large, clean and comfortable, and a great value for the price. The staff were friendly, and gave us a great restaurant suggestion. The Lido is a 10 minute vaporetto ride to St. Mark's, so is a quiet, relaxing location. However, the hotel is close to restaurants,... More

I liked this small buy lovely hotel. The staff was warm. They gave me a very good map of the city to use. Though it is on Lido I loved the location. Lido itself is a small and calm island with a public beach. The free internet was a bit slow but served my purpose. I liked the breakfast too.... More
