This hotel was the biggest of all our stay in Italy. The breakfast wasn't quite the best (but it's what your used to so each to their own). The rooms were very clean and modern and air con was nice! The reception was helpful although when I asked how much for a doctor they couldn't say and I'd prefer to... More

My staying in Venice was wonderful ! I had a nice time exploring the crowded city during the day and after retreat to this amazing and "remote" hotel. In few words: the rooms are big and have a nice big TV, the breakfast is OK but is very very cold in there ! Consider this a friendly tip for the... More

The decor is definately different, and luckily more refined than I'd anticipated from the photos. Suits Venice, with its ever-present carnival theme (the multitude of shops are loaded with Carnaval masks). It is definately pricey, but this is Venice, so if you are looking for something somewhat upscale at a lesser price,it may be hard to find. Our room was... More

stayed 3 nights in October - Venice is not cheap but the Carnival offers excellent value for money. Rooms are modern (not large) - our bathroom had a large walk in shower - the aircon was welcome as it was sunny & humid. Breakfast is good rather than excellent but there is choice and you can start the day well... More

I stayed 3 nights and left with very neutral feeling. I have visited Venice pretty often and I do NOT have any expectations for quality of service and guest rooms. Usually, I figured guest service in Venice can’t get worse. This hotel just meets my expectation in the perspective. I do not expect much after I paid $350 per night... More

Amidst the noise, lights, and marvelous congestion is Carnival Palace Hotel. Off along the canal the hotel sits among shops, apartments, and some bed and breakfasts. We had a suite, that was well cared for each day. Breakfast included an array of fruits, pastry, eggs, cereal, etc. an the most delicious coffee pleasantly served each morning. You could dine outside... More

Lets be real. Venice is not the place you go when you want a 'room with a view'. You are in Venice, Italy! If you want a 'view', go for a walk and discover the city. When you think of Venice you may think of Carnival with all the beautiful Venetian masks, great costumes and everything in between. I was... More

We paid well over 350 euros/night for a canal view. This is more of a serviced room with breakfast than a hotel. The rooms were nice but not special. Breakfast was adequate but no more. You'll get as good/better in many places, at half the price. There is no restaurant. The bar is little more than an extension of reception.... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in September. The room was clean and pretty big for European standards. The hotel decor was very upscale, stylish and very modern. The location was in a suburban area far from the madness around Rialto. It was about a 30-35 minute walk to the Rialto/St Marks area. Alternately you can take a water bus to... More

The hotel has probably been totally refurbished recently as everything seems new and modern. Small room, like the whole of the hotel kept in dark colours, like it or not. The bathroom was ok, included a bidet and a colour-changing spot in the spacious shower. Awful coffee and not so great croissants, breakfast buffet was ok with standard selection of... More
