We just spent three nights here and loved it. Our room was big with a sitting area where our son had a bed. We had a nice view onto the canal. Location is great as it's away from the crowds but you can walk to the centre easily. There is also a vaparetto stop right outside. Breakfast was great with... More

We stayed here in July 2014. We went for the upgrade having got a good deal originally (booked really early). We stayed in a deluxe room with a canal view and it was worth it. We were shown a regular room with a view of the side and we thought it was worth paying the extra. The bathroom in our... More

My wife and I have been to Venice on a number of occasions and have stayed both within and outside of Venice. This time we booked the Carnival Palace Hotel through Qantas. We travelled by private boat and while the hotel doses not have its own pier, the drop off was only a short distance away. The atmosphere on entering... More

I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. It is situated in the quieter end of Venice but that has it's advantages i.e you can easily walk from the station to the hotel with your suitcases. Venice being Venice you will do a LOT of walking, so to me it doesn't really matter where your hotel is. The hotel itself is immaculate... More

Just a heads up that the directions from the train station to Carnival Palace on tripadvisor and IPhone Maps is incorrect. This is a pain when carrying luggages. Right in front of the train station is the public boat bus. Take line 5.2 and it's just 2-3 stops to Carnival Palace. The boat stops right in front of the hotel!!... More

This hotel was just perfect for our short visit to Venice. Arriving by train, it was a pleasant 10 minute walk from the train station. Located a bit out from the crowded area, it offered a quiet, peaceful setting though it was within easy access to all of Venice's attractions. The staff were welcoming and gracious with helpful suggestions of... More

My husband and I stayed here back in May for 3 nights/4 days for our honeymoon and it was a very pleasant stay! We really enjoyed everything this hotel had to offer. We had breakfast at the hotel every morning out on the outdoor patio area and it was delightful. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were... More

Everything in Venice is expensive, this was worth every penny. Avoid the lobby pc, it's not worth the expense. Ask the front desk to look up or print whatever you need. Room was large, clean, and well furnished.

It was not easy to find a room in Venice that could accommodate our family of four. We were not sure that the Carnivale descriptors "off the beaten path" or "modern" would be to our liking. We arrived on a 90+ degree day having not slept a wink on our transatlantic flight and were hoping only for early check-in and... More
