We loved the Carnival Palace in Venice. It was such a lovely place to stay. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed being away from the crowds. The staff was friendly and kind. I highly recommend this hotel and hope to stay there again.

Palace Our family of including 2 young girls aged 3 and 7 required a room in Venice for 2 nights prior to a Disney cruise. We wanted somewhere close to the train station where we were arriving from and with easy access to the port. For the time of booking I found accommodation to be quite pricey. This hotel whilst... This boutique is a refreshing escape from the crush of humanity and tourism run amok that is Venice in July. The nearest Tee Shirt shop is at least 500 meters away. A quiet dinner along the canal is possible. The location is off the well beaten tourist paths around the Grand Canal and San Marco but it is not at... More

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel in July 2014. First experience was fantastic. After lugging our bags to the property at about 4PM, and it was very hot, first thing we were handed was 4 cool an moist face towels to cool of with. They were even scented! Great first impression, and it got better when we got to... More

It's rare to find a such a modern, clean, quiet hotel in an old city. The rooms are the typical small size you expect in Venice but the bathrooms are huge! No carpeting, clean wood style floors. The beds were comfortable and the furniture new. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast buffet. It... More

Great hotel, nothing too much trouble for any of the staff. Rooms are nicely decorated and the bathroom is huge. Like the coloured lights in the shower, one of the biggest showers i have seen in a Hotel. Nice garden at the back of the hotel for a relaxing drink, the hotel bar is also very nice too. Breakfast is... More

We just spent three nights here and loved it. Our room was big with a sitting area where our son had a bed. We had a nice view onto the canal. Location is great as it's away from the crowds but you can walk to the centre easily. There is also a vaparetto stop right outside. Breakfast was great with... More

We stayed here in July 2014. We went for the upgrade having got a good deal originally (booked really early). We stayed in a deluxe room with a canal view and it was worth it. We were shown a regular room with a view of the side and we thought it was worth paying the extra. The bathroom in our... More

My wife and I have been to Venice on a number of occasions and have stayed both within and outside of Venice. This time we booked the Carnival Palace Hotel through Qantas. We travelled by private boat and while the hotel doses not have its own pier, the drop off was only a short distance away. The atmosphere on entering... More

I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. It is situated in the quieter end of Venice but that has it's advantages i.e you can easily walk from the station to the hotel with your suitcases. Venice being Venice you will do a LOT of walking, so to me it doesn't really matter where your hotel is. The hotel itself is immaculate... More
