Had a pleasant stay in this hotel, came with a group from college for the Venice Biennale 2009 so it was booked by lecturers and not myself. I was expecting something less fancy to be honest. It is very modern (chic) and the rooms are basic, designed to a high standard and very clean. (If you were looking for somewhere... more

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel twice. In fact the second time we deliberately chose to stay here as we had been so impressed on our first visti. We will be visiting Venice again in 2009 and I am trying to book this hotel again. It has everything. Clean comfortable, friendly staff, location really good as it... more

I stayed at this hotel when I was in Venice in summer '06 so it's a while back but I wanted to post a review nonetheless. I highly recommend this hotel if you're on a budget (and who isn't :). Staying in Lido has the benefit that you get to enjoy breakfast in the Main St. of Lido which is... more

We stayed at the Pannonia for two nights earlier this month. It's a friendly, comfortable hotel which is a bit faded, but no worse for it. We were really impressed at how friendly and helpful they reception staff were - all of them absolutely lovely. We paid 210 euros for two nights. Our room was faded but comfortable. It was... more

This hotel was brilliant. The staff were on top form, very helpful and whilst we arrived very late on our first night, it was in very easy walking distance (no need for a taxi) from the water bus terminus and were able to still purchase a drink from the bar. The rooms were comfy with nice views and this hotel... more

For Spring Break this year we stayed here while spending 2 days in Venice. The hotel is the last stop on the #1 Route of the vapretto. This is great because on your way here you get to see all of venice. The hotel is in a quaint residential district which makes it nice because very little tourist mark-up. However,... more

I stayed at the Villa Pannonia on the Lido in June 05. Location is good, about a 5 minute pleasant walk from the vaporetto stops and plenty of shops, restaurants etc in the area. I did elect to get a taxi from the vaporetto stop, costing 5 euros, well worth it, as I was feeling tired after my journey from UK.... more

A group of 9 of us stayed in August 2004. We found the hotel to be clean and basic. Staff efficient but not overly friendly. Some of us had air conditioning and some had fans. Good position for visiting Venice, about 12 minutes by waterbus to St Marks Square and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Plenty of bars... more
