We tend to pick a hotel that is easily accessible by public transportation. Alberghiera Venezia is no exception. We arrived in Venice by plane, after a short wait we then boarded an ATVO bus just outside the airport that transported us directly to Piazzale Roma. From there it was an easy 15 minute walk to the apartment. We were checked-in... More

Large, extremely clean, new-looking apartment with a well provisioned kitchen except for bowls. Also has a microwave. Has a clothes washer (and a drying rack) and a good sized bathroom. A little far from the main areas but easily walked to them with a 7 year old. Nice staff. Internet usually pretty fast but occasionally "pauses". Could be hard to... More

Location:jewish quarter about 5-10 mins walking from train station or vaparetto tre archi. Read the directions emailed to you before arriving there really is no sign just a small plaque. Great location away from the crowds and close to very reasonably priced restaurants. Room: not sure about previous experiences on the site but its a rennovated fully self contained apartment... More

Great place in a great location near the train station (not too far to drag luggage) It was enough out of the way that it was quiet but close to Vapretto. Great service, clean apartment. I will definitely stay here again when in Venice

We had 2 apartments there for the 5 of us. If you arrive by train, it is so convenient because you can walk to the apartment without having to taking any form of transport. You just have to go through a small alley and walk on for about 10 mins( slow walk with luggage) until you reach the apartments. The... More

We loved staying at l'Alberghiera Venezia. We (my husband, 14 year old daughter and I) arrived by train amidst the chaos of people coming and going. Who would know that just around the corner it would be so tranquil? We were on the first floor, which was no hardship. As you walk in your first impression is of spaciousness and... More

We spent 6 nights in an apartment here. The apartment was spotless, large and well equipped with everything you could need. Our bedroom was luxuriously decorated in a burgandy wine colour. There is a large square in front of the accommodation with a well used path crossing it. It is conveniently located about 10 minutes on foot from the rail... More

We (two couples in their 50's and 70's) spent three nights in two beautiful very large apartments. The furnishings were beautiful, the beds very comfortable. The living room and kitchen were well equipped including a sofa which could be used as a bed (we did not need this option). The bedroom was huge with plenty of cupboard space. The bathroom... More

Apartment in a great location, about 10 mins walk from the train station - found it fine via the aid of a Google map printed off in advance! I would agree that better signage would be helpful; we thought we were in an entirely residential courtyard until we walked right up to the door to investigate! Greeted by 2 friendly... More

On arrival we were made very welcome by Carmela. The quality of the apartment was first class and any feed back we gave direct to Carmela (property manager) was well received and I am sure will be actioned. Lots of space in the apartment which was very clean. Location is great but make sure you get directions either by telephoning... More
