5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Stayed in late April, gorgeous weather ... Ca' Pisani was well maintained and presented, in a great location for transport and central Venice. The staff were all attentive and couldn't have been more helpful. The room was small but beautiful; we didn't have any meals in the hotel other than breakfast but the quality and choice were superb. Thoroughly recommended.

Myself and my wife were visiting Venice with 2 other couples and after extensive research on trip advisor we chose to stay in the Ca'Pisani. It is the 3rd time we have stayed in Venice and the Ca'Pisani if far and above the best hotel we have stayed in to date. The facilities quality and cleanliness of the hotel were... More

We visited Venice for a special occasion and ca Pisani was a lovely hotel. Perfectly situated in a quiet but charming area with easy access to transport from either Zattere or the Grand Canal at Accademia. The design of the hotel is a matter of taste but we found it a welcome change from the traditional heavy baroque types once... More

We carefully chose this hotel for our 10th wedding anniversary. It was our first trip to Venice and our first trip without our children so we wanted to get right. We took a water taxi from the airport (expensive but a must to get the true beauty of the city on arrival - a breathtaking moment) and were dropped at... More

Recently returned from Italy where we spent one night at the Ca' Pisani Hotel in Venice. Everything about this hotel was fantastic from the staff to the rooms themselves. It is centrally located and is about a 15 minute walk from St. Mark's. It is also right around the corner from the water taxi. Additionally, the complementary breakfast is great,... More

dear Brendan M, it was really a joy to read your review and to know that you had a nice stay, even if short! we are glad you enjoyed the hotel staff, its location, the rich buffet breakfast and - of course - your room. and as you added, having less twin room than double ones, if a twin is... More

We initially thought the hotel was a bit out of the way but it turned out to be very conveniently located 50m from the Accademia bridge and the Accademia and Zattere vaperetto stops. Also easy walk to Piazza San Marco and Rialto.

We had a lovely stay at Ca'Pisini. A very nice and personal hotel with great service and assistance from all the staff. You made us feel at home. The location was ideal for us as it is easy to walk to some of the best sights in Venize and at the same time the area is quiet with few tourists... More

dear Kaffe-takk, thank you very much for your nice review. here at 'Ca' Pisani' (not Ca' Pisini! ; -) , we are all very happy about your comments, especially that you felt almost at home during your stay: this means that we achieved our goal. and, as you pointed out, one of our 'pros' is the location: very convenient and... Ca' Pisani is located on a quiet street just 2 minutes from the Academia vaporetto stop, with all of Venice's wonders within easy reach. The hotel is an old merchant's palazzo which has undergone a wonderful Art Deco transformation. Our room was sophisticated and elegant and exceeded our expectations, making our first stay in Venice even better than we had... More

This hotel was an excellent choice for a short break in Venice. It's in a great location, close to Vaporetto stops on the Grand Canal and Zattere as well as the Guggenheim. A good range of bars, cafes and restaurants are a short stroll away. Previous reviews have praised the breakfasts and we would agree, excellent choice and quality. The... More

Staying in Dorsoduro / Accademia

Neighborhood Profile
Dorsoduro / Accademia
Artsy is the defining mood of this neighborhood with street artists, students, painters, sculptors, restorers, curators, historians, collectors, heirs and heiresses rubbing elbows. Peggy Guggenheim's collection, now a museum, lures chic locals for evening art aperitifs. Traditionalists and visionaries cocoon in bohemian luxury. La Salute basilica buttresses the neighborhood to the east. Gondolas bob in the morning light. The Accademia Bridge crosses the Grand Canal. A back street doubles as basketball court. Palaces house residents, or like Ca' Foscari a university, or a museum like Ca’ Rezzonico that attracts Venetians for concerts. Dorsoduro reveals its industrial roots too, in buildings converted to house university departments or exhibitions. Campo Santa Margherita bursts with youthful energy from local students. Foot traffic bustles to and from Piazzale Roma and Santa Lucia train station. Evening commuters pause for an aperitivo. Neighbors exchange confidants in a campo (square) on their way to market.
