This is a 2star hotel and as such was okay. The room was small but there was crisp clean bedding. The breakfasts provided a reasonable selection of choices, and the young staff very helpful. The best thing about this hotel is the location, all the main points of interest are within walking distance and it is only about a 10... More

We loved our stay here. An intimate small hotel with a great breakfast each morning. Some private baths and some shared. We shared a bath, but never even ran into the people we were sharing it with. Great for the budget since we prefer to spend our money on fun. Very clean and great employees. They were extremely helpful when... More

Nice staff, tiny bathroom, basic bedroom, no lift, great breakfast included (a late start at 8:00am meant that we had to go without when we left for the train) about sums it up. I know that Venice, in common with most European cities, is very expensive, but this hotel was too expensive for a basic, old-fashioned hotel which had only... More

Close to both the port and the train station. Stayed four nights. Arrived by plane, left by train. We took a speed boat taxi to get there from the airport. (110 Euros) Pricey but worth it as the taxi dropped us off steps from the Hotel. We were very tired after flying in from Canada. Once we figured out the... More

I am writing this review now while I am still staying in this hotel since last night. There is no forgiveness for what this hotel provided to us since the first night stay. Last night, we (my husband and I) requested additional pillows due to there were only 1 flat pillow each person. The only person/staff said there is no pillow.... More

Tivoli Hotel is in a great location for setting out to explore (and likely get lost) in the city of Venice. The hotel was clean, air conditioning worked, staff were friendly- and breakfast was included...What more can you ask for for such a reasonably priced hotel, in an expensive city? My family chose to stay in a quadruple room, located... More

I'll begin with the good, even great things; It is in a fantastic location for the sleepier, and arguably more beautiful area of Venice, away from the bustle of San Marco but close enough to walk to it and other areas of interest. There are some great restaurants around this hotel. Another plus; I had great sleep quality in this... More

Excellent location. Far enough from the center (to avoid the high prices and crowds) but near enough to get there by just walking. We've arrived by train (Santa Lucia) and took the Vaporetto nº2 til S.Tomà. It's expensive, but is a nice way to start your journey in Venice. From S.Tomà it's just 5 minute walking. Staff is very kind... More

We stayed for 3 nights in a budget room (shared shower and toilet). It was nice and clean, and breakfast was good. Breakfast variety lessens as the week goes on, not sure when it is replenished, but it was enough even on our last day. The location is excellent for exploring the city. Lots of nearby places to eat and... More

Pleasant hotel, pleasant staff, nice building, very good breakfast. Good value for a budget priced hotel (budget for Venice anyway). Off the beaten track a little but not too hard to find. We couldn't turn the air cnditioning off or the television on - no doubt this could have been remedied if we had the interest to ask.
