The best thing I can say about the staff at Hotel Marconi is the people are friendly and helpful. Service at this level is so refreshing one could only want to go back. The rooms and furnishings are old as it should be for the location yet so comfortable you feel like you in a fine home rather then a... More

The central location enabled us to be amazed every one of our six mornings, to walk out of the hotel straight on to the Grand Canal and see the Rialto and experience Venice in full swing - fabulous! Federico at reception was friendly, knowledgeable and efficiently helpful. Our room was clean, very comfortable and everything worked. Breakfast food was lovely,... More

Have stayed here for the passed three nights , great location clean and tidy, comfortable beds easy to find, get off the water taxi and straight over the bridge. The breakfast is also good as you will need it. Make sure you go over the Rialto bridge on the other side and have tea. May not be right on the... More

We arrived on the gondola festival. Prices were inflated which was fine. My room wasn't ready even thou I was there at stipulated check in time. I wasn't happy Decided to get some good till it was ready, I went to take the bags up to get rid of them . The room was not what I paid for off... More

Some would rate this hotel just old while others would rate it charming so it depends on your perspective. I was with two other parties so I got to see three rooms including my own. My room was for a family of four and it was just an average size room with a full size bed and two other twin... More

The location of this hotel is unbeatable - right next to the Rialto Bridge so easy to find when you're walking back to the hotel after a full day/night out in Venice. (See my Forum about Venice for tips on getting around, best currency exchange locations & cheap water taxis etc). The hotel itself is somewhat disappointing. The lobby is... More

I loved the hotel, the cleanliness, the service. Staff is very nice and very hard working, they seem to have a great sense of belonging and passion for the place. Very impressed and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this hotel to others. 5 star service and lovely ambiance! Location wise, it is near the Rialto bridge so what else could... More

My family and I stayed here before and after a cruise in August. I have stayed here many times - as far back as the mid 1980's. The Marconi's location cannot be best. Steps from the Rialto Bridge and shopping and a shirt 10 minute walk to San Marco. The front desk person was always cheery and so helpful in... More

Hotel Marconi is located at perfect location in Venice. At the front desc when we check in we meet the great and polite personnel who were very helpful. With my girlfriend we had room 102 which has a small balcony with great view to Grand Canal. Room was also very small equipped with TV and a shower at the toilets.... More

Extremely basic hotel located yards from The Rialto Bridge and facing The Grand Canal, although do not expect a waterfront facing room. Our family room consisted of 2 singles pushed together with a double mattress plus 2 further singles. One was removed as it was not required. En-suite bathroom incl shower and bidet. The room was clean but the furnishings... More
