On more than one occasion I have been the lucky recipient of the gracious atmosphere afforded by the Marconi hotel and the warm and helpful assistance of Marco. This hotel is situated in the best part of Venice right next to the Rialto Bridge looking out on the Grand Canal. The staff, the rooms, the food are all superb. Stay... more

I booked this hotel though hotels.co.uk at a rate of £65 for the twin room on a bed and breakfast basis - staying one night pre cruise. The airport vaparetto service stops on the opposite side of the canal, so is only a couple of minutes walk from the Rialto bridge station over the bridge. (warning: the airport vaparetto service... more

Could not fault the place!! Great Location, Service was good with friendly staff . Nice sort of traditional Venecian hotel. I do not think you could get a better location to travel to and from all of the mojour attractions. The water Taxi from the airport even stops across the canal, making it VERY easy to arrange airport transferes for... more

We booked this hotel through easyclicktravel.com because the hotel's website said that they were fully booked and got it for a STEAL (less than $70/night). For that price, I don't think you can beat it. The hotel is very nice, fairly well equipped and nicely decorated. The morning breakfast is great. The staff easily transitioned from speaking Italian to English... more

Great location slap bang in the centre of it all. The breakfast is all-you-can-eat and is not bad. The hotel is clean and the staff are really nice. We requested another room after being stuck on the ground floor over the other side of the alley, it was a bit noisey and cold. However when we settled in another (smaller)... more

LOCATION is wonderful hotel is small but super cozy and clean. Staff is friendly, helpful, and polite. Breakfast is the best. Crunchi bacon, eggs, cereals, orange juice and plenty of nutella. As soon as you step outside the rialty bridge is on your left and the canal is right in front of you. Piazza San Marcos is only a 10min walk.... more

We booked our trip to Venice to celebrate my birthday and we chose the Marconi as my partner had stayed there previously and said the location of the hotel couldn't be bettered. I have to admit that after reading some of the recent reviews about the concierge staff and the hotel I was a little apprehensive about going but upon... more

the male concierges were the RUDEST. I travel a lot and have had my share of experiences, but they were by far the worst. I want my money back. A friend of mine stayed here as well and when she came back she said the same thing. She said they made her feel uncomfortable because they had such an attitude... more
