We stayed at this hotel last weekend, as others have said it is hard to find so read some of the tips on here to locate it. As it was a 2 star hotel i did not expect the earth but we had a good sized room on the third floor with private bathroom, there is no lift and the... more

Stayed here with my same sex partner for 2 nights in room 30, which had a view out to one of the small squares. It was a basic room with shared bathroom. There is a sink and mirror in the room though, and a fan for the hot days. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, as it was two beds pushed... more

Having travelled extensively throughout the world this is the worst place I have ever stayed in. Impossible to have a shower in our room without getting scorched as hardly any cold water.I was met with casual indifference when I complained about this.On our third and last night no cold water at all. When the hotelier eventually came to check it... more

This is positively the worst hotel I have stayed in since the remotest areas of Tibet! I had booked for one night, with my family of four in an adjacent room. We paid £360 for these rooms and they were at the very top of the building............third floor and no lift so with very heavy bags (as we were going... more

Brilliant location midway between Rialto and St.Marks Square. Staff on the desk very friendly, and spoke good English. Rooms were plain, but clean. Breakfast was nice, but quite simple. If you're looking for a romatic break, this isn't the place. If you want somewhere central, clean and safe, stay here. Noisy occasionally from the bells from the Church opposite (but... more

The first time it took me 70 minutes off the Rialto to find this hotel. It is a 4 minute walk. it is also 5 minutes from san marco If you can locate the Cartier shop (it is black glass) on Campo San Zulian (you can ask directions), you are now 1 minute away. Then turn left by the church... more

I had a great stay in this hotel. The staff were wonderful and courteous. I had the pleasant experience of seeing Andrea Bocelli in concert at this hotel and would not hesitate to stay here again on my future visit. It is situated in a great area and you are able to walk anywhere from this location. It has everything... more

My husband and I went to stay at this hotel whilst in Venice. We were travelling around Italy for two weeks and started the tour with three nights in Venice. Whilst there we would be celebrating our first year of marriage. This hotel is exactly what it claims to be. It is very cheap accommodation for very basic accommodation needs... more

Location of the hotel is great, only 5 mins walk from San Marco and Riarto, although a bit difficult to find it. (I found it following specific instructions from other traveler reviews). Venice is trully in your feet. Hotel is vey old, rooms are very small, although clean enough. The worst thing was a bad smell coming from the nearby... more

I booked Città di Milano from the internet, Venere.it, exactly. In fact, it was in the city center, right behind Piazza San Marco. First surprise, it had a terrible access. And was really hard to find. Once in there, it was less than a youth hostel priced as a three star hotel! Dirty, dark, cold, (in march it gets kind... more
