This is a rather modest hotel in one of the best locations in Venice. Very near the Opera House - which is one of the reasons I go to Venice at all - and Piazza San Marco Our bedroom was acceptable but not fantastic. The staff was extremely friendly ( a rare occurrence in that city) and the breakfast really... More

This is an excellent place to stay in Venice. Located right on a Gondola canal there is a second floor common balcony at the end of the hall where you can watch them go by. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are large for Venice. It is very nearby to Piazza San Marco, the Basilica, the Clock tower... More

We have been many times to Venice and never really found a good place to stay. This is certainly the best, with good location, good service, and a good-sized room. The decoration was a little tired-looking but was definitely comfortable enough, since in Venice you spend very little time in the room. Will definitely be back.

We stayed here for 2 night over a long weekend from London. The hotel was in a great location right near the boat stop from the airport. Staff were very friendly, providing us with wine glasses etc breakfast was great (with prosecco served). The room was big and clean. I would 100% reccomend this hotel.

While more a reflection of the city than the hotel, I think that the fact that the hotel was an excellent choice certainly contributed to my wish that I had stayed in Venice longer than two days. I made my reservations many months in advance and got an excellent rate for a single room. The room was the size that... More

We checked in and were received by a lovely staff, personal attention was european. Our room was very nice, huge bathroom, strange shower in the toilet area (by American standards) but over all just what we had reserved. Windows out on the canal from both the bedroom and the bathroom. Enjoyed hearing the canal boats go by at night and... More

Extremely pleased with the location of the hotel. Its an easy walk from the San Marco Vaporetto stop (with luggage). We traveled with elderly parents who managed the walk conveniently as well. To add to it, its a 2 minute walk to the St Marks Square. There is also a gondola station next to the hotel. The staff was friendly... More

My husband and I stayed in December 2014 using the hotel as a base for our exporations on foot around Venice. The location was excellent for this. The hotel was easy to find and close to the Grand Canal - access from the train station, by ferry and then a short walk (easy even with luggage). Staff were excellent and... More

What can you say about Venice?? Its a fairytale, its a cliche but it is definitely worth a visit. I arrivedIin the evening of Christmas Eve which, in my opinion, is the best time to arrive, really magical. I took the water bus to San Marco and found the hotel really easily. Its an older style hotelbut that is the... More

We stayed at the Hotel for two nights and we were not let down at all. Christmas in Venice was magical , with the lights and festive cheer all evident. The staff at the hotel could not have done more for us, superb room, superb position (2 min walk to St Marks Square) and legendary breakfasts (including Procesco). Gondola station... More
