We travelled with 2 children, our rooms did not face the Grand canal, but they were the best rooms in all our travel thorugh Italy. We had a big bed, the kids had two beds in the adjoining room. This is a delightful hotel consisting of the fourth floor of a Venetian palazzo right on the Grand Canal. There's just a small reception area, so one isn't paying for a grand lobby.
