Chose this hotel for the superb location within a budget. Great choice!! Very close to the Rialto bridge and you can see a canal fro your window. Good attentive staff, easy process to check in and out. You can leave your luggage after the check out time at the reception. The only down of the hotel : The breakfast room... More

We stayed for 2 nights at the hotel. The location of the hotel was great but the room wasn't very clean and well-maintained. The staff was rather helpful and the breakfast was decent. I think that it could be cheaper and the rooms more well decorated.

We stayed for 3 nights at the hotel. The location of the hotel was perfect but the room wasn't very clean. The staff was rather helpful and the breakfast was sufficient. It was expensive for the service provided, in my opinion.

We made our reservation last minute as worried about a looming airline strike...so had little, options available. Great location steps to the Rialto Bridge...great Italian restaurant in the square juts outside the door... The hotel was ok....clean, simple and typical European style experience. Bathroom tiny, shower hard to turn around in. Our room had 2 twin beds, very little room for... More

As a solo traveller Venice is always going to be expensive for accommodation, I paid €200 for three nights. But compared to other hotels the cost was good. Location is fabulous, staff very friendly, room size good, very clean and modern, good double glazing and working air con, breakfast was ok (yoghurts/cheese/ham/bread/rolls/teas/coffees/cereals/fruit). The ladies doing the breakfast were so very... More

We stayed here for 3 njghts on our recent trip to Venice. It is a simple hotel with basic furnishings. The room is clean and it came with a continental breakfast (muesli, corn flakes, breads, cheese, meats, yoghurt, a few cakes and a choice if hot drink). Other people mentioned the stairs, but really not that bad unless you go... More

Had initially booked at the sister hotel but the reception apparently was underwater. Had to forsake our canal view. This hotel is location in a maze of a lane and is very close to the building opposite. Once out of the Lane you are really only a few minutes from the Rialto Bridge. We had 52 stairs to climb and... Would definitely stay there again. Our family had two rooms for two nights. Very helpful and friendly staff, rooms had plenty of space, and were everything we needed. Great continental breakfast. Staff provided bottled cold water upon request, free of charge - how nice is that?

We stayed for 5 nights as a young couple from Australia. We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Bartolomeo. The rooms were incredibly spacious, but basic, with a large bathroom and large shower. The location was great - right by the Rialto bridge and the vaporetto stop, in a nice little square, and a short walk to San Marco... More
