The Centauro Hotel is a little "hidden" gem located just off Campo Manin down a little laneway and is a very short walk to St Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge plus every other attraction in Venice including all the nice shopping for the ladies! The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful and we happy to do... More

The hotel is old, the room was adequate, and floors aren't level, but it's Venice, after all! The hotel was quite adequate and most of the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, including Olga the dog! The breakfast room was bright and airy and the food was nice. The best part was that our room overlooked the canal and... More

We stayed at the Centauro Hotel post Cruise, this Hotel was very hard to find and a long way from where the People Mover brings you off the Cruise. We paid extra for a balcony room, knowing it would be on the top floor (3rd) without a lift, however there are at least 5 flights of very uneven stairs and... More

had a bit of trouble finding this place and got a bit concerned at first but once we found the entrance it was an absolute delight! such typical venetian decor right from the entrance and we were travelling on a budget so weren't expecting the rooms to be so lush. our room was quite dark but with red silk drapes... This hotel is very centrally located between San Marco (5 min walk) and Rialto Bridge (5 min walk). Staff were very friendly and accommodating and were more than willing to store our luggage. Room was very comfortable, clean and full of character. Breakfast was nice, with freshly cooked pastries in a lovely restaurant, with a balcony overlooking a small canal.... More

Our room on the 1st floor had lovely Venetian decor and high ceilings, though we always had to have the lights on as the windows looked out at an adjacent building. I suppose that is to be expected if paying less than 100 Euros per night. Air conditioning was a plus and the room was quiet at night. The hotel... More

We stayed in a family room which accommodated 2 adults and 2 children (king size bed, single bed and sleeper couch for 4 nights. Space is always an issue in locations such as Venice and the room was just large enough. The decor is typical Venice so you don't lose the feeling when in you room. We received a fantastic... More

I was hoping to avoid having to write this review, but I find it's my duty to my fellow travellers to warn about this hotel. I stayed for two nights with my family in June. I had a horrible accident on the final evening when a shower-door fell out of its tracks and the glass shattered! I sustained a severe... More

a brilliantly located hotel in the center of Rome, no more than a 5 minute walk to the Rialto Bridge! Stayed for 3 nights at the start of July with my girlfriend and we couldn't have been happier with the location and all of the amenities around it (coffee shop, supermarket, Rialto Bridge) Could be quite difficult to navigate with... Stayed here for 4 nights in July. Found the hotel quite easily with the directions from the Rialto vaporetto stop from the hotel website. As we had a large suitcase with us we were pleased to find that our room was on the first floor. Decorated in typical Venetian style it had everything we needed, though our only 'view' was... More
