We found the hotel to be worthy of 4 star rating Our rooms (2) were rather smallish but not to the point of being too uncomfortable. All the rest was above expectations. Excellent location, very clean, good air-con., well equipped bathroom, very nice firm mattresses. Rooms looked recently done up. Courteous staff, breakfast OK more

Room was cramped and stuffy, cheesy decor, staff not fantastically helpful, but it was close to St. Mark's and served its purpose just fine. It is on a loud street with some nightlife, so pack earplugs or go elsewhere. Compared to our great deal in Rome (Santa Costanza), we felt it was a step down, but overall it worked. more

Stayed here 4 nights i May based on your reviews here. So first of all thanks for your reviews. They turned out to be true. The hotel was great considering the price, the location can't be better, fair size rooms, twin beds (unusual in Venice), nice bathroom, good air con, fair breakfast, nice and helpful staff, so all in all... more

My wife and I stayed here for 7 days in early March. The location can't be beat, only a one minute walk to San Zacaria vaparetto stop(you can see the station from the hotel's entrance). Our room was clean with large bathroom(tub-shower combo). Breakfast was above average with the best hot chocolate in Italy. Try the new Basilaca restaurant nearby... more

I stayed there in July of 2008, and was thankful for the air conditioning! The room was quiet, clean and spacious. One plus for me: the hotels' website was offering a discount to U.S. and Canadian citizens if you paid the rates in USD cash! Check the hotel's site to see if that deal is still valid. The location was... more

After reading other reviews we decided to book this hotel as it was great value but still in an excellent location. The hotel did not disappoint - you are so close to everything here. The staff were helpful, the room was clean and a good size. There was plenty of choice at breakfast and they were constantly bringing out more... more

This hotel is located a couple of hundred metres from St Marks Square near San Zaccharia water bus stop. This is a lovely little hotel with nice staff, in particular Miko at reception. He runs a two hour walking tour of Venice in his own time and is well worth taking if you are a first timer in Venice. Our... more

We (2 couples) stayed here Sept. 5th for 1 night before our cruise. The location of the hotel can't be beat! By American standards we'd consider our room small but it was typical of many Italian hotels we'd stayed in in the past and we found it quite adequate. The room/bathroom was clean and I felt very comfortable there. We... more

This hotel is everything we were looking for in venice! The location was excellant! right around the corner from St Marks Square. Getting to the hotel was a breeze even with our huge suitcases and over the bridges and all. The hotel staff were great and very helpful. Room was clean and tidy and great for the price we paid.... more
