Very nice hotel, although the room was small (very "Venetian") it was very comfortable. We liked the location, as it was very close to two very nice Campos and a short distance to the water taxis. If you go, for the first time, it is very advisable to pick up a better map from a street vendor for about 3... More

We really liked the location of this hotel- very close to St. Mark's and the main sights, but far enough away to avoid the bulk of the cruise ship crowds that flood the city (no pun intended) every day until dusk. There is also an awesome cichetti shop a few doors down from the hotel that everyone staying there should... More

The area around the hotel is great (in the Dorsoduro section of the city). The square had several affordable cafe's and nicer restaurants. Best part in our opinion was the relative solitude of the area compared to the crowds near San Marco. Only a 15 minute walk to San Marco to see all the attractions. The hotel looks great walking... Hotel has a great location. Overall it is quant with good service. The breakfast was good. The downsides were: my room was very small (had to share my bed with my suit case-no room on the floor or elsewhere), the room had a constant smell or odor and there was a leak from the shower which resulted in a wet... One of the most interesting hotels I have stayed in with an old set of stunning stairs from centuries ago. It reminded you of the history of Venice. I would rather stay somewhere like this than somewhere modern as the Pausania has a very cosy and homely feel to it. Has a Venetian feel to it. I was in awe... More

We spent our last evening of our 2 week vacation in Venice at the Pausania. The hotel sports traditional old style Venetian charm, with the lull of the local church bell tolling throughout the day . We were a family of 2 adults and 2 small children. The quad room on the 3rd floor we stayed in was sizable, comfortable... More

This hotel is conveniently located to all major attractions. We has the misfortune of being on the 3rd floor and there in no elevator. Also the water pressure from the shower was non existent. We had booked two single beds which had been pushed together into one. So we had to make the bed into singles. One would have thought... More

The quintessential Venetian gem of a hotel. I stayed her with my mom for three nights and we both agreed that it was by far our favorite hotel during our three city tour of Italy. We wish we would have stayed here longer as it had the perfect ambience and exactly what we had hoped for when planning our first... More

This hotel was in a great neighborhood and served as a great "home base" during our recent visit to Venice. Very close to Campo Santa Margherita. Requires crossing NO bridges when you arrive via Ca' Rezzonico Alilaguna stop. Front desk staff was incredibly helpful.

We arrived in venice last after travelling a few cities in Italy. This is one hotel we liked after all the hotels in Italy for the same value. The hotel rooms are full of character with bright red theme going on inside the room. It made us feel that we have arrived in THE Venice. The rooms and bathroom were... More
