We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this small hotel near the Academia Bridge. Our room (10) was spacious, nicely furnished and looked out onto the Grand Canal. Sitting by the large open windows and viewing life on the canal was one of the highlights of our stay in Venice. Service in the hotel was excellent and the location was very... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights. When I booked the room I was told in an email that it was "small". When I asked "how small" I did not get a response. That should have been a warning!! We had a "small" double room with canal view and private bath. Yes, the location is great. The view... more

The fact that we are small is not a new, on Tripadvisor it's perfectly explained by the many reviewers and yes, we're small and can't help it. Said that, we must also remind you the we're also very cheap in Venice and actually ours are the cheapest rooms available on the Grand Canal. This is a one star hotel, no...

I really struggled to find an available hotel in Venice at anything resembling a reasonable price and was initially unsure about this one as the only room available had a shared bathroom. I'm so glad we went ahead and booked it! The hotel is right next to the Accademia vaporetto stop, which makes it convenient as well as scenic -... more

This hotel is perfectly located to see Venice by foot. The Vaporetto stops at the front door so no carrying of bags through the streets is necessary. It's about a 15 min walk to St Marks and about 20mins to Rialto. On the day we left there was a taxi strike. To walk back to Tronchetto would have apparently been... more

I requested room #5. (even thought it had a shared bath - which was clean and not a problem for me). The view and atmosphere of being on the Grand Canal was priceless. The room was quite large for european standards and it had a king size bed (2 twins together). I would recommend this hotel to anyone and will... more

We stayed here and although the room was tiny, we were told ahead of time that this was so. Charming, clean, nice breakfast, nice staff. Two provisoes - don't expect the Hilton, and don't visit if you are not slim (unless you have one of the large rooms). The others are only large enough for the bed with a few... more

We really enjoyed staying at the Galleria- the location was great for both walking in all directions and for the easy connection to the Vaporettos. The room (9) is barely large enough for the bed, but the bed was pretty firm. Most importantly, the view of the grand canal made for a wonderful start for the day, where we enjoyed... more

This hotel is right on the Grand Canal and the staff was very friendly. The room was small (room #9), but in Venice, space is an added luxury not easily found. If you are expecting to find a large room, be prepared to shell out many more euros. Unfortunately we only stayed one night at this hotel and our schedule... more

Hotel Galleria is a boutique hotel located right by the Accademia bridge w/ easy access to vaporetto. I stayed in a double w/ a view of the bridge. Room was spacious, clean and romantic. I loved the idea of "coming home" each night. My room (#3) had a view of the bridge but keep in mind it directly faces the... more

This is a hidden gem of a hotel! Make sure to ask for the room with the crescent shaped windows - it's their best room and probably our favorite hotel room for our whole trip. The view from the window looking out over the grand canal is fantastic. You will not regret this hotel stay. The service was friendly and... more
