My Wife and I stayed at The Hotel da Bruno for three nights during our first visit to Venice together. We were not disappointed, it is fantastic location, just a short walk away from a Water Taxi landing stage which connects directly to Marco Polo Airport. I guess the journey takes about 30 minutes in either direction. A small point... More

A good B&B with very helpful staff which is well placed about half-way between Rialto and St Mark's Square. Clean rooms, excellent breakfasts and reasonably priced. Downsides were: no lift, so being on the 2nd floor was a bit of a haul after walking round Venice all day; and no tea/coffee making facilities in rooms. Otherwise, would recommend the hotel... More

We arrived at 1.30 am and hotel didn't mind at all. Genuinely friendly staff. Cheerful. They provided courtesy umbrellas when it rained. To find hotel take Arancio Alilaguna waterbus from airport to Rialto. Walk to Rialto bridge from boat stop. Turn right down steps. You soon come into a big square. Go across square and down a little alley "Bissa".... More

I actually stayed here a couple of years back and the date doesn't go that far back. Venice is my favourite place in the entire world, and I can't wait to get back there. I'll be booking in at Hotel Da Bruno again. The location is perfect, a simple 5 minute walk from both St Mark's And Rialto, yet in... More

We stayed for four nights - 23rd - 27th of February 2015 - Not high season, however the total bill came to 320 Euros which for an hotel in this area (a very short distance from St Mark's Square - Salizzada S.Lio) is very good value. The room was simple with a small 'brick' safe in the wall (near the... More

Excellent location, very close to main attractions and water busses/taxis. It was our first trip to Venice and we absolutely loved it. Our stay was made memorable by the hotel, its staff, cleanliness, good breakfast and general friendliness.

Staff were fantastic, room was nice bed was great with a cool drink on arrival was a nice welcome touch. When worried home in Melbourne we realized we had left something behind which... More

My partner and I stayed here over new year and it was perfect! Like a lot of Venice buildings, the outside can look a bit tired but the warm welcome we received from the reception was so lovely! He offered us both a drink of juice while explaining about the hotel to us. Our room was in the first floor,... More
