This hotel is fine. Nothing wrong with it completely. It's in the heart of Venice. Walking distance to everything. I would travel light however when coming to this hotel. There is no elevator so you have to carry all your bags up and down the stairs. The room you can barely move in is so tiny! There's no where to... More

Positives: good central location, reasonable breakfast, welcome drink, ensuite. Negatives: slow check in, rooms have no curtains so very light at night. No tea or coffee in room. Small room safe. Would be hard to find without GPS

It's true what they say about getting lost in Venice, it took us ages to find the hotel that is nestled in a small street near St Marks square. Apart from that the location is reasonable once you get your bearings, everything is in close proximity to you. Very close to the Rialto bridge and lots of nice restaurants. Hotel... More

We stayed in the Hotel da Bruno apartments. Very cosy, just across the street from the actual hotel, next to a supermarket and grocers. Fantastic location on the main thoroughfare to San Marco. Rooms were comfortable, well air-conditioned, clean. Kitchen was fairly small but still useable, and had an 'internal balcony' area for smokers. The staff came over a couple... More

Stayed here in May for a long weekend with my wife. Amazing location. Smack bang in the middle of all the good attractions and we walked everywhere from here. Was also really easy to get to and from the airport quickly. The hotel sent us walking directions to follow from the rialto bridge stop and took five minutes. Al the... More

Lovely well located hotel. Very helpful desk staff who were more than happy to help. Single tradotionally furnished room tiny but had everything I needed, clean and nicely made up. Very good location midway between Rialto and San Marco, central yet on a quiet street with restaurants nearby. Breakfast very comprehensive. A great hotel for a short trip to Venice.

We rented the San Marco apartment for two nights with two teenagers and two grandparents. The apartment had an interesting layout and we ended up with the foldout sofa bed but it was great. We were right in the heart of San Marco and we had the best time. The apartment had everything we needed and there were plenty of... More

This hotel came recommended to us by family who had stayed there previously. The location is an easy walk from the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge. The hotel is decorated with Venetian are and glass work. Our room overlooking the front street was clean and quiet. The included breakfast was very good with lots of selection of pastries, fruits,... Hotel Da Bruno is located in the heart of Venice, just a short walk from Rivalto. The hotel rooms are designed with traditional style and are clean and inviting. The service at the hotel was really good and we got tips how to explore Venice. The instructions given by the hotel after reservation informing how to find the hotel were... More

Stayed in the hotel for 7 nights in July with my wife. It was very clean and comfortable and all the staff were polite and helpful. We had a 'compact' double room which look out over a side street. Breakfast was wide and varied that would suit all tastes, with no restrictions on quantity. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
