The hotel where I had the reservation failed to provide me the room (Casa Verardo) and showed me a single room in Da Bruno. What a horrifying site it was, worse than the famous basement of the Austrian Fritzl. It was tiny, there was only a tiny bed and no windows. They wanted almost 200 euros per night for that.... more

My wife and I have just returned from our fourth visit to Venice, staying at Da Bruno on all occasions. We book directly with the hotel, and fly with Ryanair from Stansted to Treviso.
