First of all I need to say that the location of the hotel is really great-not far from San Marco. At the same time really quiet and cosy. The service is great, receptionist is a nice person with a heartwarming attitude. The room was clean. It was a great hotel for the great price

If you are looking for a nice location in central Venice, Campiello would be a choice as the hotel is just 5 minutes walking distance to several main attractions as the Bridge of Sights, Doge’s Palace, Vaporetto and Water Taxi station, etc. The rooms are comfortable with reasonable sizes, breakfast was just ok, the rest of facilities are modest and... I stayed at Hotel Campiello last year for a Valentines weekend. Having never been to Venice before I had no idea what to expect. The main thing I will say is that Venice is incredibly beautiful however be prepared to get completely lost. One of the most handy things about this hotel apart from the great price, lovely staff and... More

This was our third visit to the Hotel Campiello. It is well priced, has a great location, and a staff that is quite helpful. It's family run and the owners are on site pretty much daily. Their location is just minutes from the Doge's Palace and St Mark's. We had a seven day stay split between rooms 215 and 216.... More

We stayed at the Hotel Campiello in one of their apartments for three days in November 2014. The hotel and the apartment are located a few blocks (actually a few bridges!) from Piazza San Marco, the center of tourist activity. They are also very close to two vaparetto (water taxi) stops. The price was extremely reasonable considering an excellent breakfast... More

Just returned from a 5 night stay in Venice. Hotel Campiello was very adequate and exceptional for the price. Just a 2 minute walk from the main St. Zaccaria water stop and a 3-5 minute walk from San Marco. Room was clean and comfortable. Reasonably sized by European standards and fully functioning. Had room 102, a corner room that was... More

Room was bigger than most places we stayed in during our trip to Europe. Breakfast offered a large selection and was well stocked. Quiet area. Clean rooms. Great service. It was a pleasure to stay here. Also very close to major attractions.

I don't often, if ever give a 5 rating but this place gets it. Now its not a 5 star hotel but in its class it is exceptional. The location very close to St Marks square makes it easy just to run over there or the adjacent streets and/or back to the hotel as the case may be. Alilaguna and... More

Other reviews have mentioned location, solid breakfast with great coffee machine, cleanliness, helpful staff...all true. Another reviewer objected to room "T" with separate entrance off the alley....we enjoyed this room. Having read that hotels in Italy frequently turn off the A/C in October we found this room well air conditioned in early October when it was hot and humid outside.... More

Best location. This is a good small hotel though little old, nicely located, nice service & well equipped rooms. Free breakfast & wifi in room. Again Location is just too good & resonable price. . Recommended!!!
