Just returned from a 5 night stay in Venice. Hotel Campiello was very adequate and exceptional for the price. Just a 2 minute walk from the main St. Zaccaria water stop and a 3-5 minute walk from San Marco. Room was clean and comfortable. Reasonably sized by European standards and fully functioning. Had room 102, a corner room that was... More

Room was bigger than most places we stayed in during our trip to Europe. Breakfast offered a large selection and was well stocked. Quiet area. Clean rooms. Great service. It was a pleasure to stay here. Also very close to major attractions.

I don't often, if ever give a 5 rating but this place gets it. Now its not a 5 star hotel but in its class it is exceptional. The location very close to St Marks square makes it easy just to run over there or the adjacent streets and/or back to the hotel as the case may be. Alilaguna and... More

Other reviews have mentioned location, solid breakfast with great coffee machine, cleanliness, helpful staff...all true. Another reviewer objected to room "T" with separate entrance off the alley....we enjoyed this room. Having read that hotels in Italy frequently turn off the A/C in October we found this room well air conditioned in early October when it was hot and humid outside.... More

Best location. This is a good small hotel though little old, nicely located, nice service & well equipped rooms. Free breakfast & wifi in room. Again Location is just too good & resonable price. . Recommended!!!

Perfect for me, when travelling to Venice by myself for just one day. Staff were very helpful, and the location is absolutely perfect - a few hundred metres from the Marcus square and one minute walk to the airport ferry! A cosy restaurant with excellent fish and seafood at very reasonable prices was also close nearby. Nice and clean, fairly... More

Hotel Campiello couldn't have worked out better for our short stay in Venice. We knew that the room would be small - and it was....but the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Maria at the desk was helpful and pleasant. It was so convenient to be close to the vaporetti stop. We would recommend this lovely little hotel... More

We stayed here in September 2014. After arriving in Venice with no accomodation we caught the ferry around to St Marks square. After several attempts to find accommodation on the Grand Canal there we were directed around to Hotel Campiello!! We managed to get the new self contained apartment thanks to a late cancellation. The lady on reception was very... More

But once you find it, you'll be delighted. Campiello is a small boutique hotel that you will find clean and well maintained. The room we had was well appointed and very comfortable. The nights were quiet, the sleeping was good and the breakfasts were good and way more than we expected. You will also find that you are but a... More

We had a great stay at Hotel Campiello. This small family-run hotel is in a quiet area a short walk from San Zaccaria ferry terminal on the Grand Canal. Close to St Mark's and the nearby congestion but it was always a pleasure to retreat to Campiello for some rest. The rooms are clean and everything works. The staff are... More
