The hotel is quite nice. Very good location, quiet and very good service. Free WiFi with a very strong signal was also a plus. Prices in Venice can be quite high of course but even so, this hotel was reasonably priced. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed there for 3 nights. The rooms are very clean. Don't expect elevator or a big hotel. It is a small one managed by a brave family. The breakfast is very good. I was a little bit sad that the breakfast from the last day couldn't be switched with the one in the first day (due to an early... More

Dear Mr Petru, thank you for writing a review about our hotel. I would like just to write something about your switch of breakfast that you have considered unfair. When a guest books a night in our hotel, like in all hotels, breakfast is included the next morning. If you arrive early in the morning ( in any case you arrived... More

We stayed at Hotel Al Piave for two nights in November. Staff was friendly, breakfast was great, the room was clean and much larger than I expected to find in Europe, AND we had a gorgeous terrace outside our room. The shower was small, but that wasn't a big deal. One note - make sure you get a very detailed... More

We stayed at Hotel Al Piave for three nights in October. The staff was very accommodating, the room was comfortable and clean. The shower was a little tight but to be expected. Breakfast was very good. We had great weather and enjoyed our stay. We were celebrating our anniversary and the staff left us a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate.... More

My friend and I stayed at the Hotel Al Piave for a long weekend, and it was such a perfect place to stay! The hotel staff were beyond friendly; they went far out of their way to make us comfortable and answered all of our questions about the city. The room was quite large for a European hotel, and the... Firstly some general things for your trip to Venice: take some insect repellant (and cream if you're unlucky); plan visiting St Marks Basillica/Doges Palace on a Wednesday as it seems to be a cross-over day for tourists; keep enough CASH to pay your hotel tax when you book out (3.5 euros per person per day upto 5 days. Onto the... More

Hotel Al Piave is a family run enterprise. And it shows. They're clearly proud of what their hotel and go out of their way to provide service to their customers. After doing a fair amount of checking, we found the price to be an excellent value for Venice, one of Europe's more expensive cities. It's slightly out of the main... More

Extremely well located. Service very attentive. Good breakfast. The hotel has no elevator. The shower box is very tight. Once the hotel is a little far from the canals and the bay, the access difficulties inherent at Venice must be considered.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights in October 2014. What a truly wonderful place to stay. We were the last to check in, so I think that lead to us getting an upgrade. We stayed in Room 107 which was actually a suite with a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. The kitchen area had a couch and a... More

We stayed for two nights, great service, beautiful room, great breakfast and great location. Would highly recommend. 5min from St.Marks, and to the No.1 Water bus that takes you along the grand canal.
