Hotel Al Piave was an absolute delight. We booked a room for 3 people, and it was perfect for our needs. The service in the hotel was impeccable and all staff extremely friendly and helpful. We also loved the neighborhood. Finding the hotel from the San Zattaria water bus stop was a great adventure. You walk through marvelous neighborhoods for... More

We booked this hotel after reading about it in Rick Steve's book on Italy. The hotel offers 10% if you pay in cash and show your Rick Steve's book upon check in. We took the vaparetto from the train station to the San Zaccaria stop (St Mark's Square) but it took us a good 20 minutes of wandering around trying... More

1st let me apologize for not reviewing this Hotel earlier! Let me suggest that you get good directions in advance before you leave for this or any Hotel in Venice. Once you get to your hotel and leave your baggage safely in your rooms, it is then fun getting lost and finding your way around. Once we arrived at the... More

I am a travel agent and took a group of 13 to Venice before going to Slovenia and Croatia. This hotel was really just perfect, although a little difficult to find. The staff were exceptional. Many of the people who worked their were from the same family and they were really helpful.

We stayed here 3 nights in late October. It was very clean, great breakfast, comfortable beds, wonderfully accommodating staff. Somewhat off the beaten path which is the way to explore Venice! Location convenient to restaurants,ATM,shopping, laundry,as well as the sights! Gives a true feeling of being immersed in the city. Easy to find if you view the YouTube video beforehand for "getting there". Would... More

Pros - good location for proximity to boats and main attractions and quiet into the bargain. Friendly, helpful staff; The bathroom was clean. Cons - Room not as booked on arrival (beds as double not twin); Blanket was dirty (made up under clean sheets, but still, yuk); Other observations - Not enough room to swing a cat in the room;... The hotel is quite nice. Very good location, quiet and very good service. Free WiFi with a very strong signal was also a plus. Prices in Venice can be quite high of course but even so, this hotel was reasonably priced. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed there for 3 nights. The rooms are very clean. Don't expect elevator or a big hotel. It is a small one managed by a brave family. The breakfast is very good. I was a little bit sad that the breakfast from the last day couldn't be switched with the one in the first day (due to an early... More

Dear Mr Petru, thank you for writing a review about our hotel. I would like just to write something about your switch of breakfast that you have considered unfair. When a guest books a night in our hotel, like in all hotels, breakfast is included the next morning. If you arrive early in the morning ( in any case you arrived... More

We stayed at Hotel Al Piave for two nights in November. Staff was friendly, breakfast was great, the room was clean and much larger than I expected to find in Europe, AND we had a gorgeous terrace outside our room. The shower was small, but that wasn't a big deal. One note - make sure you get a very detailed... More

We stayed at Hotel Al Piave for three nights in October. The staff was very accommodating, the room was comfortable and clean. The shower was a little tight but to be expected. Breakfast was very good. We had great weather and enjoyed our stay. We were celebrating our anniversary and the staff left us a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate.... More
