We are staying at the Hotel Al Piave right now, and loving every minute of it. The staff is very helpful. Breakfast this morning was good - eggs, breads, cheese, and meats. Our room is very nice! We are in room 313 - across a little alley from the hotel lobby. There is an elevator, and our room is a... More

Goog hotel for its price. My bad experience was that I had 2 double rooms booked but they gave me one double and one twin room and as a result me and my boyfriend had to sleep on two double beds. The receptionist was absolutely rude. Good thing was that the breakfast was really nice with many different choices.

Superb location, tucked on a neat little via yet close walk to everything. The hosts were terrific and breakfast was the best during our entire stay in Europe. Rooms are small but very clean. There is no elevator, but it was not a problem. We stayed with our 4 teenage children and everyone agreed that this little hotel was just... More

We stayed at the Hotel Al Piave on 19-21 October 2013. The hotel has a real charm to it and is furnished in past era style throughout. And this adds to its appeal. As it is set in from the Grand Canal, its could be a little confusing to find in the narrow laneways, but the hotel gives you directions... More

Stayed here as part of a tour. Room felt like Venice but no views of sky or water. The staff was professional but not friendly. Sent coffee and breakfast to my room when I missed breakfast. Room was noisy because it situated directly over a restaurant where a barker stood outside and called people in. Generally noisy unless you put... More

This was a lovely hotel in Venice, a bit hard to find without a map but well worth exploring the city for it. We emailed the hotel since there was a two night minimum and was pleasantly surprised that they would accommodate us for one night. We booked a double bed room and we were expecting a tiny little room... More

This family-run hotel was well-located, and perfect for our 3-night stay in Venice. Two couples with two rooms in different parts of the hotel; our smallish room was spotlessly clean and suited our needs. We felt secure with two card-entry doors to our room. A phone problem was addressed and corrected by the staff. The family members who staff the... More

Great convenient location, very cosy atmosphere and a most friendly staff. We got lucky and got bigger room for two, rennovated, nice space, new bathroom, though TV screen very small. Very good breakfast. We highly reccomend this lovely hotel.

Stayed at Hotel Al Piave for our first venture in Venice. It is a bit hard to find and we wandered around even with the excellent directions given by the hotel - we simply we continually lost in Venice!! But then it is wonderful city to be lost in! Hotel is clean and pleasant. Very nice and comfortable queen size... More

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights while in Venice. We are both in our 60's and really enjoyed the stay. This hotel is a family ran business and staff speaks good English. There is no elevator but that was not a problem as the staff carried our bags to and from the room. We found this hotel... More
