We chose Serenissima for the location and it was a great decision - 2 mins walk to Piazza San Marco and the Rialto bridge, surrounded by quaint little streets and canals. Staff were polite and professional and a good buffet breakfast was served which was a huge plus. The room was small but nicely done with hand painted furniture. The... More

Charming hotel only a few minutes from San Marco Square. The hotel does not have an elevator, so request the first floor if you have trouble with stairs. The rooms either face the street/alley or a courtyard in the back of the hotel. The windows are insulated, so its quiet at night as long as the windows are closed. The... More

The hotel is ~ 400 m in-land from Rialto bridge & you need to climb a bridge to reach it. This can become rather painful if you have some luggage with you & searching out the hotel (even with the directions they give on mail) can become a problem if you reach venice during peak tourist time (~ afternoon). The... More

This is the perfect place to stay in a magical city. It is tucked away in a small square but is only a very short walk from all the major sights. You will be in St Mark's Square within 5 minutes. The hotel is small but well appointed, very comfortable and welcoming. It is an ideal base as Venice is... More

This hotel is close to the Rialto Bridge as well as restaurants and shopping. Just a couple blocks from the Grand Canal. We enjoyed the staff and the breakfast was outstanding. Wifi was great. We would definitely stay here again.

I stayed there for one night in August 2014 as i have a short summer break in Venice. ( one night in San Marco and two nights in Murano Island). The hotel is a family run business and it is just a small place but very convenient as it is not far from the Realto Pier . It is about... More

I stayed in this hotel with my family. Hotel is located in the main center if Venice 10min walking distance from Rialto or from San Marco Square.. Very Convenient location. Rooms are very neat and clean and very comfortable. Rooms are in Venetian style, which my family liked the most. The toilet and bathrooms are small, which we can understand... More

The hotel is well located and has a friendly family atmosphere. However, I felt short changed when I paid over € 150 per night for a triple occupancy room that was so small that even two occupants would have found it difficult to fit in - with a bath that had you literally hanging out. In fact, we had taken... More

I stayed at the Serenissima with my husband and son. It was a little crowded, but that was to be expected. The room was beautiful, and the windows opened up over the street, which was quiet at night. The bathroom was tiled and updated. Breakfast was good--pastries, breads, eggs, meat, and cheese, coffee and juice (blood orange juice--great!). A sweet... More

Recently stayed here for two nights in July. The bed gave us two great nights of sleep - not too hard or too soft. The breakfast had plenty of options to fill you for a filled morning of wandering and exploring. The bathroom was clearly where they opted for updates. Very modern and sleek look to it. The shower temperature... More
