Hotel Serenissima has an excellent location, so close to all that you need to see, yet not directly on the water front. One minute walk from St Mark Square and one minute walk to the boat station. The rooms are very comfortable with nice furniture and the breakfast was healty and varying and suitable to all tastes.

Good stay for the price, very good breakfast, excellent location near Rialto bridge and Piazza San Marco. As cons, the hotel does not have elevator and the access to the above floors is done via stairways. If you stay at the third floor then be prepared for long hard way up...

Location was great. Staff friendly and helpful. Between St Marks and Rialto waterbus stops. Room was small, old fashioned and bathroom tiny. No elevator. Noisy on weekend night. Many options for Breakfast.

I'm writing this on day two of a 3-night stay in venice. and let me tell you, this hotel deserves every bit of its high ratings on tripadvisor. as I write this, I think it's at 87%. personally I give it 100% because it is exactly what a hotel should be in venice - or anywhere, really: spic-and-span clean, safe,... My 15 year old daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights, and we enjoyed it. The room was small, but quaint. The breakfast was good, and it was served for a decent length. Breakfast was early enough to get a good start on seeing the sights, too. The bathroom and flooring was very clean. Our room was quiet, and... More

Loved this hotel, the staff were very friendly. The location is extremely close to St Marks Square. The room was over the street so a little bit noisy but comfortable. The buffet breakfast filled us up each day with a wide variety of choice. We hope to return one day.

Perfect location! Easy to find! Hotel provides a visual map with your reservation to follow. As mentioned location is key, to your right, San Marco, to your left, Rialto! Each just a few minutes away. The hotel itself is a vision of Italian style. Rooms are perfect, comfy bed, renovated bathroom, clean. The breakfast was outstanding, all fresh! From homemade... More

We stayed in a small apartment let out by the hotel. It is small but we'll set out and in the heart of Venice. Very close to everything. Unfortunately the apartment didn't have wifi, but the hotel did and free breakfast in the mornings if you walk to 100m to the hotel. The bathroom was a little bad, but otherwise... More

We stayed for 3 nights in early September on the recommendation of a friend. The hotel is easy to find from the Rialto vaporetto stop - you only need to climb one set of stairs over a bridge. Don't expect luxury. This is a budget hotel, with no lift and the rooms are all very small. But this is Venice... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in late September. The hotel is very well located being roughly midway between Rialto and St Mark's Square and within easy walking distance of both. It is only a short ride by waterbus from the train station to Rialto, and then no more than 10 minutes easy walk to the hotel itself, following the... More
