Loved this hotel, the staff were very friendly. The location is extremely close to St Marks Square. The room was over the street so a little bit noisy but comfortable. The buffet breakfast filled us up each day with a wide variety of choice. We hope to return one day.

Perfect location! Easy to find! Hotel provides a visual map with your reservation to follow. As mentioned location is key, to your right, San Marco, to your left, Rialto! Each just a few minutes away. The hotel itself is a vision of Italian style. Rooms are perfect, comfy bed, renovated bathroom, clean. The breakfast was outstanding, all fresh! From homemade... More

We stayed in a small apartment let out by the hotel. It is small but we'll set out and in the heart of Venice. Very close to everything. Unfortunately the apartment didn't have wifi, but the hotel did and free breakfast in the mornings if you walk to 100m to the hotel. The bathroom was a little bad, but otherwise... More

We stayed for 3 nights in early September on the recommendation of a friend. The hotel is easy to find from the Rialto vaporetto stop - you only need to climb one set of stairs over a bridge. Don't expect luxury. This is a budget hotel, with no lift and the rooms are all very small. But this is Venice... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in late September. The hotel is very well located being roughly midway between Rialto and St Mark's Square and within easy walking distance of both. It is only a short ride by waterbus from the train station to Rialto, and then no more than 10 minutes easy walk to the hotel itself, following the... More

We chose Serenissima for the location and it was a great decision - 2 mins walk to Piazza San Marco and the Rialto bridge, surrounded by quaint little streets and canals. Staff were polite and professional and a good buffet breakfast was served which was a huge plus. The room was small but nicely done with hand painted furniture. The... More

Charming hotel only a few minutes from San Marco Square. The hotel does not have an elevator, so request the first floor if you have trouble with stairs. The rooms either face the street/alley or a courtyard in the back of the hotel. The windows are insulated, so its quiet at night as long as the windows are closed. The... More

The hotel is ~ 400 m in-land from Rialto bridge & you need to climb a bridge to reach it. This can become rather painful if you have some luggage with you & searching out the hotel (even with the directions they give on mail) can become a problem if you reach venice during peak tourist time (~ afternoon). The... More

This is the perfect place to stay in a magical city. It is tucked away in a small square but is only a very short walk from all the major sights. You will be in St Mark's Square within 5 minutes. The hotel is small but well appointed, very comfortable and welcoming. It is an ideal base as Venice is... More

This hotel is close to the Rialto Bridge as well as restaurants and shopping. Just a couple blocks from the Grand Canal. We enjoyed the staff and the breakfast was outstanding. Wifi was great. We would definitely stay here again.
