This is the place to stay in Venice. Take the public transport from the garage or train, I think called Vaporetta. It's a boat that goes down the Grand Canal right to the hotel because they stop at the Rialto Bridge. This hotel is opposite. Great location for gondolas, water taxis or walking around Venice. Couldn't be better position. Great... More

Charming, great location. Had to carry luggage up 70 steps because porter had gone home by time we arrived. Great location! Be aware rooms 1-4 off lobby and dining room, so if you like to sleep in better stay down the hall

The hotel is at a walking distance from the Grand Canal taxi stop. The room was spacious and elegantly decorated. The breakfast spread was excellent. The staircase leading to the reception is quite a long one (no elevators) which we didn't mind at all. The staff helped us with the luggage. Staff was very friendly and the front desk personnel... A great location by the Grand Canal, close to the Rialto bridge, ideal! It's on the top floor with a lot of stairs but the staff will help if you are struggling. Excellent breakfast and the dining room looks out over the Grand canal; makes a fantastic location for a cup of tea in the afternoon. Staff friendly and helpful.

The hotel has great location very close to the Rialto bridge. We are a family of 4. The family room has one double bed and 2 single beds. It sleeps 4 comfortably. When we opened the window, we see the grand canal! We did not mind the long stairs. It was a great exercise to walk off those gelato, pasta... More

We stayed here with our family of four, previously my husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon 18 years earlier! The bathroom and room were of a good size, we were all able to fit without too much of a squeeze. Nice breakfast in the morning and the guy at the front desk even got the breakfast room ready... Greatly situated hotel to go exploring all of venice. Room/bathroom were tiny but worked for what we needed. No elevators, but we stayed on 2nd level so didn't have too bad of a climb. Guests on top level have it bad with about 5 stories to climb with bags. Hotel staff was very nice and accomodating. Breakfast was good way... More

My wife and I just recently returned from a long vacation in Italy. One thing I definitely want to do was to take her to Venice and since I wanted a nice dinner and a gondola ride I would need a hotel. The number of hotels in Venice are staggering, and all promise great service. However, someone mentioned to me... More

My wife and I finished up our two-week "trip of a lifetime" with two nights in Venice. Venice is ridiculously expensive and so this place may feel like a bunch, especially for a three-star hotel. However, I tend to feel like it was a nicer hotel than that. It's was extremely personal, the staff was amazing and accommodating and the... More
