Fantastic location and for a very reasonable price I got a junior suite with the view of Canal Grande. The only inconveniences are that there is no elevator and the bathroom needs upgrading. Staff is very nice and helpful. The restaurant was so good we had several meal there. I suggest to try the "granseola" which is a local crab.

We were picking up a cruise ship in Venice and decided to spend a few days in Venice prior to boarding. My husband had stayed here on business in the past but this was my first time and having read the reviews was a little doubtful as to whether I would like it. We had a room overlooking the lagoon... We have stayed at the Hotel Wildner the week before Christmas every other year for more than a decade now. The hotel is charming, the rooms cosy and comfortable and the lagoon view is just wonderful. It is a small hotel on four floors and there is no lift. Breakfast is included in the price and is perfectly adequate (though... More

The Wildner is in a very good location ( amongst top hotels) in Riva deli Schiavoni. It is practical for a couple of days, being 3 star it lacks some things like lift and lounge. But the rooms are good and bright overlooking the canal. We were in room 37. I was there 3 years ago on first floor (and... More

This was my 4th trip to Venice, the hotel I normally stay in was booked (Hotel Orion), so we chose this one. We were 3 ladies traveling together and we were given room 14... seriously RUN if you get this room. The fabric wall coverings were FILTHY including a HUGE circular stain over the door and stained ceiling in the... More

We where a party of three ladies and wanted a triple room with single beds, we got a single room with two single beds and a camp bed as the third option. No dressing table a single wardrobe and little or no room to move around the room. The staff just about conversed if pushed. The final and most disappointing... More

The Hotel Wildner could not more ideally placed for those arriving with baggage from the Airport being literally metres from the stop on the Airport Shuttle "Bus".... The Allilguana Water Bus. No looking around back streets for your hotel and no need for an expensive water taxi. Reservation was handed very efficiently and my queries by e mail responded to... More

The Wildner Hotel is right off Mark’s Square landing near the Grand Canal entrance. The hotel would be considered vintage by most definitions but the amenities were up to date. The hotel staff was friendly and readily willing to answer questions or provide assistance. The very best part of the Wildner is location. The hotel provided breakfast, which included a... More

Nice homely hotel, what a delight to step straight off the water taxi jetty and right into the hotel lobby. Room was small and beds not particularly comfortable. In room mosquito repellents did not work, so bring our own lotion ( Skin So Soft by Avon is the best). The restaurant is right on the canal and having breakfast overlooking... More
