This was quite the experience, never before had we asked to move rooms, but we had to here. We arrived, climbed the stairs, passed the sacks of laundry, climbed over the hoover, got our heads around the musty smell, it is Venice after all, to arrive into a very large reception room, we were checked in and seen to our... Except for Ullah the asst manager, the other staff and the awesome view of the santa maria formosa church there is no other reason why anybody should stay in this place.. The one we stayed is the main property ( can't imagine how the other two are ).... the building is supposed to be 500 yrs old and feels so....... More

Recently had two short stays at this "hotel". I had read some of the negative reviews beforehand so I was a bit wary, but in the end, for our purposes, it was perfectly adequate. It's all a question of what you are expecting. This is not really a hotel, it is a Bed and Breakfast establishment, so if you are... More

We stayed at this Hotel in November and we were surprisingly pleased with it. I have to stay its not for every one but as long as you're an easy going traveler it is a charming little Hotel. Great history and close to St. Marks Square. The breakfast is not the best but sufficient. If you let you're guard down... More

We just returned from a 2 night stay at this hotel and all we can say is NEVER AGAIN. I'll begin by saying that this hotel MAY work for some but it is NOT what we were promised and nor what we booked and certainly NOT worth the money we paid. I feel cheated and deceived. #1 - I had... More

We stayed at this hotel because it was a great value compared to the extremely high priced hotels in Venice. We arrived very late, and likely received the smallest room in the building (we could barely get our suit cases in the door). You had to bend down to get in the shower (low hanging ceiling). The room was clean.... More

Perfect in every way. Great location, great price and very friendly staff. No problem recommending this place. Rooms are extremely large and made you feel like you were royal. Just a tip, most of the photos you see here are the front but the actual front door entrance is down the alley way on the left over the bridge.

What a day in Venice we had! We arrived by train, and then found it would cost €70 to get to this hotel by water taxi. So we opt for the water us. It took us to Rialto station, which was all fine, but we then spent the part of an hour lugging our 40kg suitcases through piazzas and alleyways,... More

Me and my friend have been travelling around Italy and stayed in budget hotels. This hotel exceeded my expectations. After seeing the poor trip advisor reviews I wasn't sure what to expect but it was actually really nice. We got an offer and paid 50 pounds a night each which isn't that bad and the location is great. The restaurants... More
