After reading the reviews on he hotel we booked one night in the Falier suite which looked lovely. The staff were fine but the room was so dark there was not enough light and if you turned the lovely chandelier on the lighting was worse as there were only about 3 bulbs in it. It is very easy to reach this delightful hotel by water bus or water taxi. The hotel itself retains all of the elegance of its historical past, with marble floors, and gleaming fixtures everywhere. stayed 2 nights at the Antico Doge - very nice room- helpful staff- relatively convenient to canal stops. be prepared for some stairs.......close to rialto bridge...cool place to stay more

I enjoyed a lot my stay! The hitel is close to the mains attractions, the staffs are helpefull, room clean and good breakfast. The only negative point is the small bathroom. But I don't care for it. more
