This hotel is conveniently situated down a small side-street, literally 5 minutes from the train station. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The bedroom furnishings could be deemed as being 'shabby chic' and may not appeal to all tastes, as they could be deemed to look run down. The bed was very comfortable and we suffered no problems from... More

The hotel is located very close to train station in a small alley. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite small but still very comfortable and breakfast was great. I would suggest anyone this hotel The only thing there was no lift at time of our visit but there were works going on so I believe... More

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights recently. Our main ambition was to explore Croatia, but since it was cheaper to fly into Venice I planned for us to see a little bit of this wonderful city. The location of this hotel is great - very convenient to transportation into and out of the island. Plus, while everything... More

We spent a couple of nights here and the location was very close and convenient to the train station or bus drop off from the airport. Fairly substantial breakfast in the morning. Rooms were fairly basic and had a safe. Little pricey but it is Venice. Main disappointment was lack of wifi in guest rooms. Requested a room with wifi... More

My experience in this Hotel was very positive and I can wholeheartedly recommend it. My room contained all essentials (minus good soap and shampoo) and was very quiet, somewhat small but comfortable facing a backyard area. No elevator. Breakfast was good and plentiful. All staff helpful and polite. WiFi only available in breakfast room, but not during designated breakfast hours.... More

When we arrived we were informed that we did not have an ensuite bathroom - we booked our room from a travel agent who stated that this waa not written anywhere when she booked our hotel. We got over the fact that we did not have an ensuite quickly but then as we used our private bathroom located down the... More

Dear guest, we are sorry you didn't like our hotel and your room. You booked through an agency which used a channel manager to reserve the most economic room we do have, the only one to say the true, double standard with private external bathroom. Unlukly your permanence with us was ruined by this big misunderstanding from you and your... More

We stayed here 2 nights, and the first night the cooler was not working and we moved our bed down, so we could be right under vent. The next day we moved to one floor down, and the cooler was working better. They have no lift, and the front desk area is small and cluttered. The breakfast was good. Very... More

The location is excellent - we arrived at Treviso Airport and a bus took us to Piazza del Roma. A short walk over a bridge, then past the railway station, some shops and restaurants, turn left down a small alley and the hotel is halfway along. Beware of "porters" who will grab your bags then try to charge 50 euro... More

The hotel's location was great. Right next to the train station and right next to the Grand Canal. It served as a great base for our trip in Venice. The service was great. The man who welcomed us was very energetic in tone and it seemed that he really cared about our stay at the Hotel Florida. The room was... More

We stayed for a few nights last year and found it comfy, clean, and close to everything. It's not fancy or flash, but by far the best value for money we found in Venice. Also, Emmanuel, the receptionist, gave us honest and great advice about where to go, what to see, and how to avoid the tourist traps. He also... More
