This was a great hotel to stay at in Venice. The room was quaint yet spacious enough to accommodate our family of four. The staff did a great job of giving us a great recommendation for a place to eat and how to navigate the streets. The only complaint I would have would be the shower, way too small and... More

What can I say about hotel Gorizia? First off the staff is warm, friendly and exceptional! Honest to a fault! We stayed there one night and a beautiful little room all done Venetian style. Breakfast was great and was included in the room price as was the Wi-Fi which worked perfectly in our room as well as the lobby. The... More

The Hotel is strategically located between San Marco and the famous Rialto bridge. HOTEL - small but cozy. Rooms are kinda victorian in motif and the bathroom were clean as well. The moment you step out.....an array of restaurants and shops are everywhere. Another best this is....it's just a 5min walk to the vaporetto station and one stop away to... More

This hotel was recommended by a Venetian friend of a friend. It's about a 5 minute walk from St. Marks Square, easy to find. I printed to map from the website and found it. Very nice staff. My room was small, but all that I needed. Very clean, with bathroom amenities included. I could not find CNN on the tv,... More

The location to explore Venice is second to none. Nestled between the Rialto Bridge and St Mark's Square is only part of the story. I know Venice quite well and trust me, it's a fantastic place to be for the very best in shopping, restaurants is one aspect but add that it's convenient for hopping off the Vaporette, (and back... We were very happy to stay at the Gorizia. It was already the 3th time we stayed there. If we are going back to Venicdr it will surely be in the same hotel. the reception advised us to go to a certain restaurant of which we were very pleased We went there 5 times in 6 days.Marvellous.

Stayed here for 3 night in september 2014 in rooms mystique 666. Close to everything. the place is clean and the people at the front desk are very nice. The use of the balcony is nice after long days of visit. However, the bed and the pillows are very hard and unconfortable. You wake up in the morning with pain.... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in November 2012. Needed somewhere central as I was recovering after a hip operation. Perfect location for us. Numerous restaurants to choose from. Close to St.Marks Square etc and the hotel was authentic Venetian decor. Clean and comfortable and the man on the reception was helpful in recommending suitable restaurants. I would use this hotel... I was a bit apprehensive about staying here as some of the reviews were a bit dodgy but I was very pleasantly surprised. 6 of us stayed in 3 three rooms (41, 42 and 44) and all 3 were extremely clean. Yes, the walls are all covered in fancy material but even that was sparkling clean and it didn't feel... More
