We had a 3 night stay at this lovely hotel in the Canneregio section of Venice. It was chosen for its proximity to the train station--very close, which means no lugging suitcases over numerous bridges--as well as the fact that it is adjacent to a central mooring dock--just a walk across the street to catch our 4am water taxi to... Hotel is close to the train and on the strip with shops and water taxi. Breakfast was good. Bathroom is small. Staff spoke English. Always check your door to make sure it locks. Easy check in and out.

We had 3 nights stay at the Amadeus in Venice & were very happy with our accommodation. It may be on the opposite side of town from St Mark's Square (Cannaregio, List di Spagna) but the location was fairly handy to the railway station & main carpark, also only a short walk to the main water taxi stops on that... Hotel's location is good, near the grande canal, bus station and the taxi station. Our room was clean but the bathroom was really cramped, a tall person wouldn't have fitted on the toilet. Nobody told us that wifi needed password and we had to ask for the safe's key. Allso beware: the room's door doesn't lock automatically.

This is a comfortable, quiet hotel in cannaregio, near the train station (thus not much carrying of suitcases). Some rooms go to the garden, which is nice anyway for the breakfast. Breakfast is good for italians, some more freshness (fruits) would be fine. The receptionists are friendly, competent and speak english, one even german. The room was small, but new,... More

I had a great overall experience at this hotel and had very little to complain about. The staff was very friendly and had no trouble communicating in English. The room was nice and had the nicest bathroom of any of the European hotels that I stayed at during my trip. The location is pretty convenient, as it is just a... More

Rooms were clean, but a little run down. Great location, a 5 mn walk from the train station, which was easy to cart our luggage to. No complaints about the service, just nothing exceptional. Very professional, but not personable. Breakfast was tasty. If your looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay this is it.

Great location just couple blocks away from the st. Lucia railway station, water buses and gondola rides and steps away from the big canal. The room was spacious and clean and the reception staff was helpful. The decoration is dated and a couple things need a fresh up. Breakfast was standard. We were rushed to leave the room even when...
