I arrived on Sunday June 28th after traveling for 19 days around Greece and Italy. When I went to check into the hotel and I was informed that my reservation had been cancelled by the booking agency in London. I had prepaid for this room in March and I started to panic but I was reassured that they had a... more

We went with my family of three (my two parents and me) So we stayed in a 'triple' room so our room was slightly larger and i was glad to see that they actually had a full sized bed for the third bed, not a roll away which was the case in many hotels we stayed at. The hotel was... more

We were originally booked at Hotel Villa Igea, but when we arrived, told they were full and we were being upgraded to their "sister" hotel, Savoia and Jolanda. They assured us we were moving from a 3 star to a 4 star hotel and we would be happy with the change. Though we were pleased with Savoia and Jolanda, I... more

Nice location near St. Marks Square but hard to find and even harder to reach. Over pushy reception trying to encourage excursions to their Murano glass factory. Breakfast was small, leftover food from the previous nights dinner. Smallest, most expensive room we experienced in Italy. Room amenities were dated and shower was uncomfortable. Service was sub-par. Go elsewhere. more

I have just returned from a 4 night stay in Venice and was utterly delighted with this hotel. It is in a superb location right opposite the Zaccharia water taxi stop so no suitcase dragging for ages! The reception staff were superb and so friendly and helpful. Our room was quite small but does that really matter? we could get... more

We were here for three nights and it was a very nice hotel. The location is great and there are many nice places to eat behind the the hotel. I did not like the breakfast not enough western choices. Everything else was great. more

I travelled to Venice alone in March, I try to manage one trip alone each year and after reading 'Miss Garnet's Angel' I headed for Venice. Venice exceeded all expections much of that was due to my stay in this Hotel. Many hotels are rated 3* 4* etc. but this hotel just exuded old style class and sophistication without being... more

This hotel is very close to the San Zaccaria water bus stop so is easy to find when you first arrive via the water bus from the airport. This is an advantage in Venice as it is easy to get lost in the alleys and small streets. The hotel is comfortable and the rooms are of a good standard. As... more

Stayed there for 3 nights at start of our honeymoon. It's a fantastic location. We were in a room that was 2 flights of stairs up from the 3rd floor, so it was a bit of a treck but there was a view of the lagoon from one of the 3 windows in the room so that was nice. Breakfast... more
