We had a wonderful time at this classic small hotel right on the water close to St Mark's Square. The staff and the rooms were first rate. Our room over looked the water and was perfect. We will definitely return to this great hotel.

We booked this hotel for the fact it was centrally located, paid a premium for one of the best rooms with a view, but it was all let down by the poor customer service. We had wrote in especially to have private transfer from the ferry port, we wasn't even given a response either way to say yes or no,... More

Fantastic Old time Classic hotel. Our room was something unbelievable. From the small windows we could seen the beautiful roofs of other buildings and the sea infront of Venice. Nice breakfast and very good services. The groom took our lungages up to our room via steps. The Hotel is two bridges from the famous Piazza di San Marco and very... More

Being in Venice was wonderful, staying at the Savoia and Jolanda made it even more special. It is centrally located and overlooks the canal. Our room was ready even though we arrived earlier than the normal check-in time. The staff was wonderful and always made sure we were taken care of. The room was very clean and nicely decorated and... More

While we did not stay at this hotel, we did decide to have dinner at their restaurant, the Restorante Principessa just across from the water bus stop at St. Marks Square. The food was great, but what really makes this place awesome is the staff. During our meal, a fast moving thunderstorm rolled in from nowhere and the staff immediately... More

This hotel is in a great location right on the Grande Canal close to everything! The room was tiny but it had a small balcony which helped! The hotel itself was very nice and the staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was served outside in their dining area and it was great to watch the crowds pass by first thing... More

Location location location. This hotel is it. Ferry and water taxi stations across the way. St marks square is 5 minutes walk away so you can dodge the crowds and the heat by retreating into the air conditioned rooms midafternoon. We had a teeny tiny room with a small balcony that gave you a glimpse of the grand canal. But... More

A superb location directly opposite the water bus stop and near the Doge's Palace and St Mark's Square, an ideal base. There is a lovely restaurant on the waterfront, a delight for breakfast and at other times. Friendly welcoming staff who gave so many good recommendations. The room was charming and overlooked the waterfront with views across the lagoon.

We stayed for two nights here and couldn't believe how lucky we were for value for money. The location was amazing and it is an idyllic looking hotel. The rooms were average size for Europe and lovely and clean. The staff we dealt with were really friendly and spoke English well which was helpful for us. We had a early... More

I can't say enough about Hotel Savoia and Yolanda. First of all, it is located on the Grand Canal, so from the Venice airport (VCE), you can take the Alilaguna Water bus directly to the San Zacharia pier in front of your hotel. The cost of the water bus is 8-15 euros each way. This means that you don't have... More
