My boyfriend and I stayed in the Best Western Olympia for 3 nights in Nov 09 and experienced a pleasant stay. The hotel is situated very close to the coach park Piazzale Roma but is far enough back that noise was never a problem and the scenery still beautiful. We drug our luggage to the steps that lead over a canal. My friend stayed with the luggage while I attempted to get someone from the hotel to help. Yes, I would recommend this hotel UNLESS you want single occupation. They have three rooms for single occupation (although doubles don't cost much more) and two of them have 'no view' meaning they have a 'window' looking onto a space as big and miserable looking as a lift shaft. If you can accept to walk 10-15 minutes to the main sights this hotel is well located. It is close to the trains, buses and parking so you don't have to transport your luggage across the city, which is a mess regardless if you walk through the crowded alleys or take a boat.
