Perfectly located for a pre-cruise destination, Hotel Olimpia was a delight. The rooms were charming with updated bathrooms and comfortable beds. My adult son was staying with us so we booked a triple and he was actually in a little ante room which gave us all adequate privacy. Furnishings were very venetian and in no way resembled a typical Best... More

Hotel Olimpia is very easy to get to from the airport. The bus drops you off right in Piazzale Roma and you can see the hotel from the drop off point. The Hotel is charming, really pretty with a great courtyard for sitting out in the sun. The staff are very nice and friendly. The rooms are all a little... More

I chose his hotel based on the reviews here and I must say I congratulated myself for my right decision. I spent the night before cruising to Greece in Venice and wanted to be as close to the terminal as possible as Venice is known for being a little hard on luggage handling! It was perfect, you are just a... More

The Hotel Olimpia is a charming, comfortable Venice Hotel (even though it is a "Best Western".) I love the location. When you arrive in Venice via bus from the airport, you can see it across the canal from the bus terminal and it is a few short blocks from the train station. This is a great location because it prevents... More

We booked the Hotel Olimpia for 2 reasons - It's proximity to the cruise terminal, and the reviews on tripadvisor - and we weren't disappointed. Firstly, getting to the hotel from the airport was very easy, for 5.50 Euros the bus drops you off in Piazzale Roma and from there it is a couple of minutes walk to the hotel... More

We stayed one night pre-cruise. Having to carry luggage in Venice is unforgiving because of the bridge steps, heat and the crowds so the location behind P. ROMA and 2 minutes from the People Mover suited us. View from room was unspectacular so seek a garden view if you can. We were a family of 4 in a room with... More

We were spending the night in Venice before leaving on a cruise. Our family was at the Best Western Ala in the heart of the city. Both have their charms, but I have to say that I liked being away from all the hustle and bustle of St. Marks square. Venice in the summer is very crowded. Getting up early... More

We stayed in a well-equipped family room at this hotel for the day before our cruise. It's in a nice location, with friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed sitting in the garden at the back of the hotel. You really couldn't get a hotel very much closer to the people-mover which takes you to the cruise terminal - very convenient.... More

We stayed at the Olimpia Hotel for one night before departing for our cruise through the Greek Islands and Turkey. We found the Olimpia Hotel to be a real gem. Everyone was friendly, informative, and helpful.

We were spending three nights in Venice prior to boarding a cruise ship. We wanted a hotel where we could transfer from the airport and to the port, easily. The Hotel Olimpia fitted both requirements and we were so pleased we chose this hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful and a warm welcome was given, every time we... More
