We started in Venice on a tour and our transport from the airport was a water taxi which took us right to the front of the hotel. It was a good location. Close to water taxis, across from the Ferrovia (train station). Plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Rooms were small, but quant. Loved the Baroque style furnishings.... More

Having spent four weeks in Europe with very rare opportunities to get good wifi, thus was over joyed to have fast and stable wifi. Hotel room and breakfast was fine also. Good location with easy access to walk all over Venice.

Good location. Very close to water taxis, across from train station and lots of restaurants within a short walk. Excellent breakfast. Disappointed that "patio" room 502 was actually on first floor opening to the back yard and no water view! Assumed we had a patio overlooking the Grand Canal and wouldn't have booked otherwise! Staff helpful with storing luggage after... More

Our first time in Venice and the starting point for a Mediterranean cruise. Plan was to stay two nights. This wasn’t the hotel we originally booked, but were placed here after booking at the Carlton Capri (3-star sister hotel in the back) but were told that they needed to transfer our booking. I don’t know the exact reason but from... More

Our first time in Venice (2 night stop-over before cruise) and the location proved to be very convenient to access from the airport (shuttle bus then short walk up Grand canal), and for exploring Venice on foot and by Vaporetto which was directly across a bridge. Lobby and dining room had nice period-type decor, rooms could be described as shabby... More

Loved this hotel, right on the Grand Canal, room was tiny and quaint, kind of like a museum type of room. Easy to get around Venice from here, by walking or the Vaparetto. Many restaurants nearby, lots of shopping too!

You must bear in mind that all the buildings in Venice are old. The hotel was in a good location opposite the railway station and we were first drop off by the water taxi direct to the hotel door. Hotel and staff were very good and we stayed half board for 3 nights. Food was nice but the menu stayed... More

We stayed for four nights and found the location great for visiting Venice. Right by the 1 and 2 water bus stop. The reception staff were extremely helpful. The breakfasts provided all we wanted and the staff again were very willing to help. Yes the rooms are small but we expected that, but don't expect any view of Venice from... More

We arrived after 6 days of travel in Italy. The lobby, public areas, patio overlooking the canal are very nice. As always rooms are small, carpets could use update. We found prices of drinks way high-12euro for not greatest martini. Wine is 6 or 7 which is double place down the street. Breakfast and coffee was the worst in Italy... More

We stayed here for 4 nights for my birthday and really enjoyed our experience. The staff were all really helpful and gave great service, our room was small but clean, we did upgrade to a canal view so I would book one of these rooms first if I were to go again as they are larger, it is in a...
