4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

I was a little worried when I was looking through reviews because there were many reviews about their old rooms. However, the room we stayed seemed like newly renovated (or I should say it didn't really look very old!) The location is great since it is close to the main train station, and you can easily reach to other sightseeing... More

We enjoyed Venice. The staff at the hotel was very good. But the rooms were dated and very small. Especially considering the rates we paid. Overall we enjoyed the location and we were not in our rooms much. But we certainly enjoyed the staff and the food. The way breakfast was served was fun and enjoyable..

The hotel has a very good location. Our room view on the Grand Canal is fantastic. This is really makes a difference. The breakfast is very tasty. However, only one coffee machine was working. The huge crowds are everywhere in Venice including this restaurant :)

I read the reviews (mostly on Tripadvisor) which helped enormously making our stay perfect. When we arrived we asked to see a couple rooms, one on the street side and the other with the canal view. We chose the canal view. Our A/C (heater) worked very well and wasnt noisy (room 124) which is important as we heard others complaining... More

We stayed here for 2 nights on a tour group. We were completely in awe as we arrived right up to the hotel mooring in the evening. Just be careful when you step off the water taxi onto the steps as there's some algae on the steps close to the water, you may slip. As we entered, we were drawn... More

First of all this Hotel has been very clean. Staff have been pleasant and efficient. Breakfast had full selection of continental and also bacon and egg. Dining hall is beautiful. The lobby of the hotel is very impressive and the room we are in is lovely with a beautiful Grand Canal view. You are a little out of the centre... More

Hotel is a little bit dated and not well maintained. Wall paper in the room is worn and scratched. Air conditioning was noisy. A strange light was coming the whole night from the ventilation... Breakfast is ok but not a huge variety. View on the canal is nice. Service was not what i expect from a 4*; welcome is cold... More

A step back in time - not to the 16th century but to the 1960s. I haven't stayed in a room like this for decades. In fact, I didn't know they still existed. The layout of the second floor of this hotel resembles Venice itself - a rabbit warren. The room I had is at the end of a labyrinth... More

We paid 300 euro a night, I don't feel like a valued customer, but a slave to the hotel. Here are the treatments that we got: 1) luggage staff got our 10 euro tip, but did Not moveour bags into our room. We ended up paying another bell boy 5 euro to take our bags up. 2) the bed is... More

Loved this hotel, very quaint, lovely staff. We asked at the bar for a Peach Bellini and was told there would be a delay, didn't realise the bar tender had gone to the market to get fresh peaches,it was the best we have ever tasted.Consequently we have rebooked to go back in 2015.Would recommend this for anyone wanting a nice Venetian experience and rooms...
